it shows her mental state. her statement something resembling her current situation.

Her view on report could be something different. Entire office expects something. but she gives some other opinion. that disappoints everyone.

Malvika never showed her reporting skill before to us in this serial. she will blast Ananya.

spoiler ends with 'but..' so someone else supports her view. who?

[I think Ananya has many friends and well -wishers like Manav who will help her. Even Kabir will help her to come out of this goof-up. Every body will help her to come out of her disturbed mind. Kabir is a matured person and he may have idea about what office gossip can do to her.
