Are we worrying too much ?

Being a Rajeev Khandelwal fan, I had followed everything about this show, right since the time I heard the rumors of him signing a TV project. 😳 This show was always meant to be a limited period show of about 5 months.

Then, came the news of Kritika Kamra being signed opposite Rajeev.

Next we came to know that the show is a LOVE STORY between two reporters of conflicting thoughts, set in the backdrop of a newsroom.

When the show started on 13th April, it received both super positive and few super negative reviews as well.

Meanwhile, SBS aired a small BTS segment showing Kabir-Ananya's tashan during the Bhavna Shroff case, saying the love track shall soon begin.

But what we saw was a gradual build up of story, from Ananya turning against Kabir, the Baaghi incident, to the friendship phase and now the phase of discovering of each other.

Had they been running after TRPs, they would simply jumped to some OTT love story. But they havent. They have kept it slow and gradual.

Reporters has never had good TRPs right since the beginning. If this love track had forcefully been brought for TRPs, the execution and treatment would have been different and they wouldnt have waited for 40 episodes, when show is all about 120-130 episodes. This track was very much a part of the story.

Of course, all of us would like contribute our bit towards making Reporters a success in terms of numbers. But, honestly speaking, it is not a show which can cater to the needs of the TV viewing masses of the country. These shows are meant to carve their own niche.

So, the final gist of my blabbering is , the sequence of events does not say that the channel/makers have so far tampered the main storyline for TRPs.

The promos already showed romance and romanch...

Even the synopsis says how kaya's love survives in the cut throat journalism world.

I am hoping for the best.

Unfortunately Saas Bahu n Rona Dhona gets more TRP's than a show wid different concept ... Ppl need 2 accept d change n cum out of d Rona Dhona phase ( luv show s in hollywood as dey hv such differnt concepts n dey wrk for so many seasons wid same cast n gud dey dnt prefer such cryng shows)

The show is going on a perfect pace. And the biggest proof of it is that, NEVER have any of KaYa have 'accepted' their feelings as love. Kabir didnt deny to it when Tarini provoked him means he somewhere knows he has budding feelings for this certain Ms Kashyap but definitely he is yet to figure out how to channelize those feelings so that they never end up hurting her and also he needs to know how even she, her past, and even her present (Ronnie/her family) fits into his already entangled life. On the other hand we still see Ananya juggle between words like 'hero-worship', 'attraction', 'idolism' and sometimes 'love' - which according to her is the cumulative name she has given to all these feelings. So both of them are still on that 'attraction/friendship/need of each other in their lives' path...and its a pretty good thing, seeing we will be half way done in another 10 episodes.

As of now for the next half of the show, we have a suicide/murder mystery to solve, we have Kabir's past to decode that has has his ex wife, his family, Tarini and her ex or late husband, then the angles of Ronnie/Ananya, too much hun! And apart from all this, we have to see KaYa understand each other and work to make each other fit in their already complicated lives. I dont u/stand if showing what they are, is any quick knowing what all is left.

And knowing Rajiv I dont think he would have chosen it as his comeback show unless he was given the full script and storyline so I dont think we need to worry that they will change for trps
