'Reporters': Will Ananya and Kabir Confess Love to Each Other?

Matters of the heart are best understood and reciprocated when expressed, but somehow daily soap makers just don't get it. In recent episode of "Reporters," Ananya (Kritika Kamra) is confused about her feelings for Kabir (Rajeev Khandelwal). He has been her inspiration for the past 8 years and she idolizes him, but when it changed to love or whether it has changed to love or not is still a mystery.

On the other hand, Kabir also has feelings for Ananya. He wants to be a friend, guide, support system and love, but this is something he is not ready to accept even to himself. When Kabir sees Rony (Puru Chibber) with Ananya, he gets jealous and irritated without understanding why. His friend and ex-intern Tarini (Alefia Kapadia) tells Kabir that he should tell her how he feels and take it seriously. He should not deny himself the happiness he deserves.

Well Kabir as usual hears her out but doesn't do anything about it. In the upcoming episode, Kabir leaves for Singapore without so much as a word with Ananya, and of course the poor girl is disheartened. Ananya is confused whether expressing her love for Kabir is a smart choice or not. She loves him, but with Kabir's past, his divorce and the gazillion women he courts, she is unsure that telling him would be the right thing to do.

Sources claim since the TRP report of Sony TV's "Reporters" is not as good as expected. Hence the makers decided to start the love angle and speed up things before it gets any worse. For the past two weeks the show has been constant with 0.2 rating. How much worse can it get now?

Oh pls!Its a finite show and makers have everything planned!🥱 The show is quite popular online and amongst the youth and is immensely loved!⭐️ Looking forward to the upcoming track.

I dont think they are rushing with anything.. Its a 130 episodes show that'll run for 6 months. So the basic storyline is already quite well planned out. It was always meant to be a love story setup with a backdrop of a newsroom. That is what they are showing.. I really dont think, they are much bothered about the ratings. Whichever way it goes, it'll anyhow be pulled off air by October.

The show is amongst the best in the current lot and its just a frustrated feeling it ain't doing well. Seriously!

What I was suggesting is can we let the channel know about the fan following and ask them for promotions. Airing CID all day long won't help 😆 . Yes that has been a flagship show of sorts but its really irritating when there's no variety. Sony has the worst marketing and promotion strategies ever. They are just laid back IMO. Commenting on the YT video doesn't help and doesn't boost trps because online viewing doesn't count.
So should we send suggestive mails and request them for promos? Its a thought. 😳 I don't know how much successful we will be but i just want the show to run well till its time and i am sure all of us here want it to be.
So if people agree maybe we can plan out a strategy to let the channel know what we want.

Hope they proceed with Kabir-Ananya Love Angle without making it Triangle or Rectangle by involving other character..and making situations difficult for KaYa.

Yes, i don't want them to have to mess up the story because of TRP problems. This show has HUGE potential and all the actors are great! I hope things work out. We should do something if possible too.

I agree with you guys...

I just don't know what the Indian audiences love in SaaS bahu sagas...seriously.

The Indian telly world need to change their mindset.

Sony has always brought shows with fresh concepts. But then, why do they give this step motherly treatment to their own shows. I am not a person who watches shows online. Reporters airs at 9pm. And if by chance I miss it at that time slot, I do not have a single alternate time slot to catch it up. First the 12am slot was removed, then the 6.30 pm repeats were removed and now to top it all, they have also removed the Saturday 8.30-11 am repeat marathon. So basically, for TV viewers, either u catch it at 9pm or 8.30 am ( again an unfavourable time) or u dont watch it all.. And of course, in India, majority of audience watches shows on TV and that is what goes into making TRPs.

SankatMochan Hanuman and Indian idol junior are Sony's latest preferences after CID and Crime patrol. When they are not interested in doing anything for their fiction shows, why do they launch them, at the first place? !!!

Going by thr record, thy will not pull up this show early thn stipulated time even if it has low TRPs coz it has dedicated viewers like few of successful Sony shows in past. At worst thr wud b no Season 2.😳

Bt hope makers stay firm on Channel not meddling with the story line of Reporters like thy didn't with YRF shows for TRPs!

Bcoz its not TRPs for what Rajeev-Kritika signed and even makers made this show for quality show with a different take on story!

All blame is on Sony for low TRPs. Its not popular nationwide for daily soaps. Plus the youth segment in which this show is popular hardly watch daily soaps on TV and mostly catch it up on Youtube. Change of timings before 7 wud fetch more TRPs!

I think this is transition phase for Indian TV jst like films. Nxt generation is going to b fed up of daily serials, but I hope tht thy don't sacrifice Reporters for TRPs. It has sure won accolades and love of ppl if not TRPs.😳

Sony channel is still not closed down bcoz its sister channels r doing so well especially Set Max so it can survive.

Bt its a glaring fact tht its even below SAB!
