My very first topic on this forum, hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it..
Brilliant screenplay today.. Hats off to the writers and to the actors who have done complete justice to the writing.
I was one of those who didn't think it is realistic of Kabir to realise his feelings so soon, but the writers totally convinced me today. The natural flow of scenes, the display of intense emotions, and the very logical situations, everything made watching the episode an absolute delight.
Kabir is feeling guilty for inflicting pain on Ananya, though he is the just the messenger, and he wants to be the one who applies balm to the pain, because it will not only sooth her pain, it would also sooth his guilt. His emotions were very realistic and for a moment I was glad that he atleast has a friend in Tarini to share his feelings. I wasn't impressed with the actress playing Tarini, but her dialogue was bang on. Yes, Kabir looked more heartbroken than Ananya, and yes, her pain is getting reduced by sharing with her family and friends whereas his pain is heightened in solitude. In real life too, whenever we encounter some fresh set of pain, it most often reopens some old wounds, that's exactly what is happening with Kabir.
And it is realistic for Ananya to let loose with Ronnie, not sure what would have happened if Kabir reached ahead of Ronnie, but still I don't think it would have been easy for Ananya to be this open with Kabir, their friendship is still very new, whereas her friendship with Ronnie has the comfort of years they had known each other, she would never think of impressing Ronnie, with Ronnie she can just be herself, but with Kabir, she would want to put her best foot forward, her conflicting feelings towards him is one reason, he being the symbol of her lost hope is another and the newness of their friendship is the third. But the look of pain and despair in Kabir's eyes when he had seen and heard her, just too powerful. I can truly understand why he turned back, how can he offer solace when he is in need of it more...
The last scene was a master piece, fantastic conceptualisation, brilliant execution and a power packed performance. It was the moment when the pleasure becomes pain, the beautiful memories coming back to haunt, not because they became any less beautiful, but because of your fear that you might never get another such moment, when you realise you are inadequate to do the one thing you desperately want to do, and that you are falling deep deep down. I have no words to say about Kabir, he melted my heart..
I had mentioned yesterday in some post about the legal doubts, glad they answered it today, Ananya's mom did know about her hubby being declared dead, and also about the wallet. She just wanted to hide herself and her children from the painful truth, yes, I can relate to her feeling, and I got my answer for how Kabir had the wallet with him till now.
Loved Kabir's super cool handling of Malavika. I loved the fact that Kabir did indeed share all he knows with Ananya, this is what I had been mentioning, he looked too genuine to hide anything.
Ronnie - Malavika scene was over dramatic.
Precap : More pain in the offering, bring it on. Pain too, when beautifully portrayed would bring viewing pleasure :).
