So I have been reading a lot of posts saying they are beginning to dislike Ronnie's character and his relationship with Ananya. Here's my two cents on these issues.

Ronnie

I am not angry with Ronnie nearly confessing his feelings for Ananya to Kabir. It was an expression of genuine gratitude mixed with a small portion of trying to mark out his territory. Ronnie is a simple man whose life nearly revovles around Ananya.So it's very natural for him to want to protect the special status he has in Ananya's life.

Ananya's breakdown

As a Kaya shipper I would have preferred Ananya breaking down in front of Kabir and not Ronnie. But that would have been totally out of character and rushed. Ananya is completely at ease with Ronnie. In fact she conveniently cancels her dinner with him because she knows he wont take offence. Kabir on the other hand is a man she recently befriended and who she has hero-worshipped for several years. It's natural for her to feel more ready to be vulnerable in front of Ronnie. The fact the he was the messenger who brough the life-shattering news makes the situation even more complicated.

Kashyap family

The frame where the Kashyap family and Ronnie release the lantern is beautiful. As a Kaya shipper i would have again preferred Kabir being a part of that frame. But he just doesn't share that relationship with the kashyap family yet.

Lonely boy befriends the popular girl

kabir is like the lonely kid in class who spends all his time alone. Along comes a sweet girl who draws him out of his shell. She becomes his first and only friend and hence the centre of his universe. But the sweet girl also happens to be super popular. And it is painful for the lonely boy to accept that his only friend in fact has lots of friends (and family) and he isnt the centre of her universe yet. That's why it was so heart breaking to see Kabir in today's episode. His vulnerability was the same as the lonely boy who discovers that his only friend has many people in her life, people who are even closer to her than him. He yearned to be closer to her, but he realizes he isn't there yet.

D bond dat Ronnie shares wid Ananya n her family ... Kabir at present does nt share d same bond bt its jst a matter of time (depends on d Cv's ) he wud be in d frame wid dem instead of Ronnie

He ws hurt n more affected as Tarini rightly pointd out ... coz he cud nt b der for Ananya or her family 2 console , hold dem 2gether in their difficult time ( although being der watchng out for them frm far he cud nt b near dem ... bt still he ws der , only if Ananya cud see 😔)... it ws Ronnie who ws der for them

But some where I felt ananya suddenly forget that kabir is also her in his life as a friend when he called that time also didn't talk properly

Is her relation with kabir was only because of that article and that was written by kabir she was close to him once she found that reason is over she behaved as if she don't need him and his friendship

Or I am thinking too much in this

I think she is just not thinking about Kabir right now. Her focus is to recover from this shattering news and to ensure that her family doesn't fall apart. I think she cant even imagine the effect her withdrawal is having on Kabir.

Thing is, I don't think anybody's disliking Ronnie like that, I mean nobody should! He's doing it for his best friend, for the girl he secretly is in love with. So it makes perfect sense for him.

Its our shipper hearts that wished she would open up to Kabir, like how he wanted her to. He wanted, for once to be an emotional crutch for her, to be there for her.

But you said it- Ananya couldn't! Because the blow of the news was pretty big at that time. She needed to deal with it all, alone preferably.

She put up a brave front but he very well understood the turmoil in her and wanted her to break down, let it out. But even though they are friends, she couldn't. Not right then in front of him. They are still NOT there as of yet.

She has the liberty to take Ronnie for granted, but there's still a reservation when it comes to Kabir. 😳

As for Kabir, like I said in the other thread, what made it all the more painful for him was the fact that he tried to extend his support, not once but twice but Ananya couldn't bring herself to do it with him. Its understandable. And with Kabir, that man can put up a tough exterior all he wants, but he too can turn into an emotional wreck.🥺 The burden of the guilt and seeing Ananya like that brought it out for him today.

But yeah, we can hope for a patch up soon. I loved how they talked it out during being kidnapped. That was one beautiful conversation. This is of course a different situation. But I suppose when he is on leave during the accident, or after that, they need a heart to heart just like before.

Awsome nd beatiful post... Agreed with u.. Ananya ronnie bond is more strong than kaya bond.
So its but natural for ananya to break down infront of ronnie rather than kabir nd its justified..

We've seen it through out the show so far, his interactions with her family, him coming and going in her personal life, it has all shown their friendship. We all have that one friend, who's always there. For Ananya its Ronnie. However Ronnie may feel about Ananya, for her, he is the friend who has been there through thick and thin. Its very normal that he would be there along with her family.

I don't believe Kabir is jealous of Ronnie, but Ronnie makes Kabir realise how he (Kabir) can't do anything to stop her tears. Kabir feels responsible for her tears. He wants to end her suffering, but he can't. He wants to help, but he is helpless.

Ananya has truly lost her father. It isn't about Kabir right now, its about mourning that loss. Kabir is her idol, and most recently a friend, but hes still her boss and mentor as well. He has also repeatedly asked her to be strong and gives off a strong persona. She wouldn't want to break down in front of him.

Kabir wants to save the world. He definitely has a bit of the hero complex issue. He wants to save her, a person he admires and even cares about. He can't. Its killing him that there's nothing he can do.

I don't think that he is jealous of Ronnie. He just yearns to have the relation Ronnie has with Ananya.

Yes he does have a hero-complex. I think it's because he is so shattered internally that he serives his sense of worth from being a hero to others.
