Kabir is far too jaded, dark and manipulative as compared to Ananya. You can blame it on his past. But Ananya has also had a very hard life. Her father vanished eight years back. She has been the sole breadwinner of the family. Yet she retains a positivity, innocence and sunshiney nature that really make her character endearing. And I wonder if dating or marrying kabir will take that away from her.

Exactly, that's the other side of this issue. She is quite innocent and very hopeful of the world and people around her, Kabir is an exact opposite and so is his world, I wonder how Ananya will adapt to that side of his.

I have yet to watch.. Am still stuck at work.. Aaj toh hospital lobby mein bhi nahi dekh paayi.. 😭

Interesting point of view and I do partly agree with you. Kabir's manipulating nature will make it difficult for Kaya to have an authentic relationship.

. Yes Kabir is shrewd, manipulative but that doesn't make him any less human. People react differently to different situations. Whatever happened to him made him how he is now but when they are going to eventually fall in love, it won't change her the way you are fearing 😳 , it shouldn't I mean. Ananya is strong,resilient and has a mind of her own. Even when she falls in love with Kabir, she won't lose her innocent streak or give in to things like he said.
. I believe how Kritika said,Ananya will grow into a woman. She will just see the world as not black and white but will realise that there are shades of grey in the people around us. That is what we term as character development, right!
And as for Kabir, I believe being with Ananya will reintroduce him to the little things in life which provide warmth, which he has shut out of his life. In other words, he will realise that the shades of grey are not all bad in life.

THIS had been my idea for KaYa for a very long time. I have been harping about Kritika saying the show is about Ananya's growth from a girl to woman in every topic for a while now 😆
But sometimes I sit back and watch the episode with a little more realistic point of view like how would this work if they were real people, I know they aren't 😆 But so far they have been quite realistic.
And the fact is they would have a hard time, its not easy to change years of thinking and beliefs that we have learnt, for a man like Kabir its going to be harder with his complexities. I just feel they should let Ananya be a bit more smarter when it comes to him otherwise its going to hurt her later on.

KaYa are my ship!

They're different as chalk and cheese.. Kabir, the mature, manipulative, jaded man.. Ananya, the child-woman, innocent and full of life..

Both have seen ups and downs in life and yet the manner in which they dealt with the chaos is veru different..

He turned bitter and ruthless, hiding behind a mask of indifference and power while she faces life head-on..refuses to be fazed by her traumatic experiences, and yet retains her faith in goodness..

They both have their strengths and weaknesses, they're both alike in a lot of ways too..

It's their shared passion for their work, firm belief in their principles and the obviously palpable attraction that will bring tjem togther..

and Kabir's coldness, his manipulations and her stubborness, impulsive behavior will pull them apart..

They will forever be hanging in the middle of nowhere until they both find a middle ground..

If this journey is about Ananya finding her wings and blooming into a sensible, mature woman, Kabir shall also be forced to face the mirror.. Time and again, he will be reminded of the stark contrast between the man he was, before and the one he is today..

It's this constant journey of rediscovering their hidden strengths, accepting them that will ensure that they cross each other's paths, time and again..

I do think that Kabir's bitterness might rub off on her to some extent especially once the louuuve happens, but she's faar too strong-headed to blindly accept things at face value..

She will fight him for all its worth, but all that turmoil and confusion will only make her fall harder for him..

Kabir's manipulations will one day backfire on him, making him realise that not everyone deserves to be pushed away.. there are some things that are beyond even his control, and there's no escape from em..

That is when he will be forced to revive his older self, but with Kabir's cultivated maturity and shrewdness intact..

He is already drawn to her, thinks she's different and valuable..

And soon he will start to see her light reflecting in his darkness..

They will both lose something, mostly a part of their guarded personalities and yet, it will only make them stronger..

This is going to be one mushkil prem kahani filled with bumps and bruises..
