As Malika said, the RN hug was mainly due to the fact Raj was so very close to Naveen and Naina being Naveen's sister, how Naveen's death impacted on her, Naveen's most precious little sister and how Raj couldn't stop it even though he wanted to so badly lead to that hug. It was like a Dam breaking down, it must have been so long since Raj confided in anyone or trusted anyone so much as to unload all that was in his heart. Raj had a brilliant and strategic mind, a strong self control but he was emotional when it came to Naveen, it was his weak point.
Kabir however is a man who is very controlled, he doesn't let his emotions override his thinking. So I dont think we may see that magical hug we got in RN but there will surely be something important that will happen once Kabir speaks his side of things. My bet is that he actually starts feeling the love towards Miss.Kashyap

Now that we are talking about it, not much has been said about Kabir's family. Is he prehaps an orphan? He has quite the attachment to the slum kids and the kids at orphanage, maybe his past was somewhat similar.
