Well.. since you might've forgotten me.. i though of a way i could remind you that i'm here lol!! This was written by me for some entirely other purpose.. but as i was going over it, i thought it really suited AY or even TR..
so please read the fic!!.. here it is..
The fire was alight with the strong winds lashing his face. At some other time, he would've made an effort to warm his hands in the fire, but it contained a body. He was currently sitting beside the fire, not daring to look at the ashen body of his wife. Not that he was in denial or in shock, he didn't feel anything. He didn't feel a stab of pain when he heard the news of her death, he didn't feel jealousy at the people who brought her body back, and he didn't even feel like flinching at the fact that her body was burning before him.
In his hand was a piece of paper, maybe that was what had stopped his feelings. He had read it over and over again, it was written by her and her chauffeur had bought it for him.. even the paper evoked no feelings in him. He scanned the paper again, the words seemed to bore into his soul and rip his heart, yet he felt no pain.
Zilch. ..
He was the kind of person who renders you speechless. He was the kind of person who never ceases to amaze you. He was the kind of person whom you just can't help but fall in love with….
I felt zilch for him, at first sight. At first sight, he was just a character, a character with a black tank top, and a stubble. He was surrounded by the police, and all I did was look at the screen blankly in anticipation of a better scene. And that's when I saw his handcuffs. It was a special shot, and I still remember the way the design of his handcuffs was imprinted into my mind. He was defiant, he held his head high in pride, and it was almost ironic that he was bound to just a creation of steel.
Yet, that was when I felt the first pang for him. Slowly, I got to know his name. Yuvraj. Yuvraj Dev. His eyes were jet black and dashing, and when they were pointed at you, you could feel them boring into you. They held a lot of emotion, a lot of pumped up emotion, and as I looked into them, I silently urged them to come out. They didn't. He had a very clear cut face, with a small stubble, muscular body and a pessimistic outlook towards life. Nevertheless, he had a sense of dignity and self respect which I haven't seen in any other human being. That was the moment when I knew that he was unique.
That one word summed him up. Unique. His attitude towards life was simply marvelous. He didn't care about anything. He didn't care what people thought about him. It was as if he had stopped feeling everything. He drank to forget, he drank to wash away all his sorrows. He had lots of faults, lots of low-downs, and yet even after that, I couldn't help but feel that he was real.
He was much closer to reality than many of the physical people I've met. Everything was strange around him He had an aura about him, which spoke all the words that his dark lips couldn't possibly speak. He had a smile which he rarely displayed, and when he did, it was worth a million dollars. I still remember the way his smile lit up his eyes. that was the only time he had displayed emotion, and that was when I was convinced that he is, indeed, human. But most of all, he had a sense of justice. He had a sense of right and wrong, a sense of morality, and a deep, if not angsty, sense of humor. His speeches were passionate, heartfelt and they made you pine. He might've lost a lot of things in his life, with his family problems and a whole period in jail, but he never lost his heart.
He was the kind of person who would do everything for you and when you look back for the last time before going forward in life, he will wink and say, "Told ya." He was the kind of person who will never let you down. He was the kind of person who would whisper, "I love you too" in your ears, and make you realize that you have fallen in love with him. At the end of the day, before going to bed, he made you feel lucky, he made you feel good about yourselves, that in your lives, you have something to look forward to which doesn't include alcohol, military or loneliness. He made you realize that even when the earth is covered with snow, and time becomes static, there is still something out there, something that has a the fierce capability to change your thinking. All you have to do it reach out and catch it.
He folded the paper and laughed.. his laugh was so hollow and bitter to his own ears that he flinched at the irony. He had done everything, when she needed love, he had loved him. When she needed trust, he had given her his own; when she needed care, his shoulder had been there; when she wasn't there, the tears fell unstoppably, and he had always dreamed of the magnificent way to welcome her when she came back..
He intended to do everything; everything for her.. just not in that particular order..
For what was to be the last time in his life, he cried.
Well.. i hope you like it.. I know you've liked it if you comment.. so please doo!! 😆😳
