Chapter 7

Yuvi didn't seem to be able to hear anything…he had his eyes only for Ashi.

But before Ashi could react to the truth her cell rang.

" Haan mumma….main aa rahi hoon….." she said without really understanding what she meant.

" Well guys…Congratulations!!! Par….. um…..mujhe abhi jaana hoga…" said Ashi not looking at Yuvi.

" Noway Ashi…you can't just go like that…..lunch toh karke jao humare saath…." said Sandy in a genuine pleading voice.

" Well…maybe some other time Sandy…" she said attempting a smile…but her cheeks seemed to pain…she wasn't used to giving a fake smile to anyone. " Bye…." She said and left without really glancing at Yuvi.

And she didn't know how she managed to take the car out of the parking lot…or how she managed to meet her mom and give her the parcel…or how she reached home….coz all the while she could hear only Sandy's voice… "My fianc….Yuvraj Dev!!"

Only when she reached home…could she think clearly…..and then she laughed out loud…..Duh-huh Ashi!!! Tum bhi paagal ho….kya hua if he's getting engaged….Why should he ask permission from you??? And she tried to convince herself that she should be happy about the engagement….obviously she would be shocked at first…..it would take sometime for the news to sink…..she spent the entire evening thinking about her feelings…which she had never ever done in her entire life…..but now…..after staying with Tia for so many years…she had started doing that……

" What's wrong Yuvi…?" asked Sandy extremely worried…for Yuvi hadn't uttered a single word since they came back from the mall.

" Nothing….seriously sweet-heart…kuch nahi hua hai….just a little head-ache.." he lied.

" Are you sure…? " she asked worry in her voice.

" Yup….I'm damn sure…..uh….you know what….mujhe thoda kaam hai….I'll have to go out….tum so jao…fine? " he said with a smile and kissed her cheek.

" Ok…." She said with a smile and she went to her room as Yuvi set off on the streets of Mumbai…thinking……

I liked the way ashi reacted to it....and how yuvi only had eyes for her!

I really loved the way Yuvi had eyes only for Ashi that is so typically him 😳 This part was way too good. I also loved the way Ashi laughed at her feelings.
