Its really sad.The makers of this show should atleast think that these are historical icons.Not some fictional characters whom they can distort.This is a very serious issue.For people who don't know history,it can influence them in a wrong way.
I know that Akbar was not completely good but it's not for nothing that he is known as Akbar The Great.Yes,he was ruthless and shrewd but he was the one who unified India.He was the one who treated all the religions equally.Intact such was his might that no foreign country dared to attack India.MP's characterization of Akbar was pathetic.Vishal Jethwa and Krip Suri were superb actors but the CVs turned Akbar's character into a complete villain just to glorify MP.They don't realise that MP will always remain great even if they don't butcher Akbar's character.I respect both the historical MP and Akbar.
My sole reason for watching MP was Riya Deepsi and Krip suri but the story was ruined in such a way that I couldn't bare even 2 episodes also
I think there would've hardly been any historicals which didn't distort the real history
