"Don't do this." She said simply. "It isn't our child's fault, it was my choice." He didn't reply.
"Name her Heera like we agreed, and don't you dare blame her." She added, much more firmly. "Tell her about me, after Parvati comes back to her normal life. And, give this to Paro." She handed him a box.
"You're bossy." Rohit spoke up as he seemed to finally give in, just hugging her close.
The next morning, when her mother was no more, Heera seemed to calm down when Parvati her, and once she was asleep, Paro opened up the box, picking up the first letter.
"Take care of Heera, Paro. And don't forget everything I told you. I promise being me won't be hard, but going back to being you, and with Rudra is your priority."
Even as she cried, Paro knew that this was the right & only choice.
3 weeks later, 'Myrah', Heera & Rohit went knocking at the door of the Ranawat Haveli, Paro still trying to get used to having the trendy hairstyle wig on top of her real hair, and her body clad in modern clothes..
Upon seeing an old woman nearly faint at the sight of that impostor, Rohit realized the resemblance wasn't a pain only for him.
As footsteps approached, as well as the sound of a deep voice that she had been yearning for, 7 long years, Parvati was shaking from head to toe, wanting to scream out for her Major Saab, yet staying quiet.
When their eyes met, she tried her best to keep from crying at the look of pained shock on his face.
"Is this the house of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat?" Rohit asked, surprising Parvati with his help. Though that surprise was nothing like the one she got a few seconds later, when Rudra replied. "EX Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat."
Hai Bholenath, why did my Major Saab leave the BSD? She thought to herself.
