Sanaya Irani

Sanaya Irani is an Indian model-turned actress who started her career as a model, she made her acting debut with a cameo in the Yash Raj Film Fanaa' as Mehbooba (2006). Irani's first lead role as a protagonist was in Star One's show Miley Jab Hum Tum (2008), as Gunjan. After that she portrayed the role of Khushi, the female protagonist of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' (2011) and moved on to become one of the top paid television actresses after starring in the series Rangrasiya'.

Irani spent seven years in a boarding school in Ooty. Following this, she graduated from Sydenham College and wanted to pursue an MBA degree but decided to become an actress instead.

She has won multiple industry awards like GR8! Performer of the year award in Indian Television Academy Awards, Best Actress (Popular) in Indian Television Academy Awards, Boroplus Face of the Year in Boroplus Gold Awards etc. She has also hosted a TV show called Zara Nachke Dikha - Season 2

Me three ... I have loved BW actors earlier ...but never been so crazy about a TV actress, that I don't even get attached to any BW actors now! Sanaya has some magic in her ... most shows that I have watched, I like the actors for that particular show, and detach when the next one comes along, and discover that I was attached to the character and not the actor. With Sanaya, it's the opposite ... I'm attached to the actress even more than the character she plays ... or maybe it's because she has the ability to MAKE her viewers attach emotionally to every character she plays.

The Sanaya effect !!!

She really needs to come back to our screens now!
