I have noticed this about Gul...she likes to take not so popular/new leads for her shows,that has always been true for her female leads at least.Not saying this news is not true..just a lame observation..

This rumour since OCT (AVTA times) is there.

but there are other people approached for the same,right ?

May be SP wants more popular people then there is a chance.

as long as it is for SP show,i'm happy and hopeful.

Harshad chopra had given two hit shows before humsafar ... but ya humsafar is all together a different story 😆... ya she likes to take new face for her FL , but its not like she has some rule , or has she? and its SP channel we are talking about , they have the final say for leads anyways ...

^^ KSG is another example ... he was popular before QH ... just her earlier two show's leads were not so popular ... still Sanaya had given a hit, MJHT before IPK

about HC - that's why I said true for female leads at least...2 of her GEC male leads were those who had hit shows and were popular before they starred in her show and the other two weren't so popular.

Thats why I said MJHT was a hit, not Sanaya was popular ..😆 ... still as compared to Gul's other FL leads, she was and had bagged few awards too before IPK 😛 ...

Sanaya was more popular and better known than Barun when IPK started And in Geet, DD was more popular and better known among the youth audience than Gurmeet was ... he was better known by the older audience for Ramayan. So I don't think that generalisation really holds true.
