Lighten up...I REJECTED Shantanu

Lol...I know things are glum lately on the forum, and I've pretty much stopped watching the show or commenting here, but I thought this would give some of you a chuckle.

Last night, my mom came to me with a 'rishta' (well more of a 'we'd like you to meet this nice boy' kinda deal). And I'm like, sure, tell me about him. And the first thing she says is, 'his name is Shantanu!' And I just shoot up and yell NO.

Mom looks at me like I'm crazy, and I'm like, yea don't want to meet him. And she asks why, and I say I don't like the name. And then she gets mad and lectures me on how i'm so picky, and that's such a silly reason to say no, and I'm going to end up being a kunwari my whole life. So I sit up properly and tell her, 'I know you'll think I'm crazy, but Shantanu killed Paro, and ruined RangRasiya." She huffed off, clearly not understanding.

Needless to say, I am not meeting the boy.

Tee ! heee.. that was cute. All of us have officially lost it I think. RR has brought out the crazy side of me out! My husband understands just by looking at my face if I am sulking about Paro or what happened to RR and our Parud.

Its is crazy but true... same thing happened to me... One Aunty came to our home with a "Rishta" too..
You won't believe it his name is "Rohit"...Yes, its not my imagination!!!

When i heard the name i litterally fell from my chair... I couldn't believe destiny is doing something like this to me

I don't even know how to react... whether to laugh at this coincendence or to cry...

But like seriously you cant be possibly be forced to call your hubby by the name you hate all your life. Ha ha ha.
