Hope thanks for todays take!
I want to say a little bit about Mohini. Often times bullies continue just because they can. Just because they can get away with it. For twelve years, Samrat never really made a stand. Never stood in front of his mother ready to take her abuse for his wife on his own face. And so she continued, confident in the knowledge that Samrat would never oppose, his wife would always compromise. Finally when the camels back broke, Mohini realised her mistake. But she had painted herself into a corner with her prejudice and ignorance. And her ego made her a prisoner. I am sure there were many times Sumer or Rudra might have wanted to say something, but that was not their place. It was for Samrat to face the fire which he never did. And finally when he did, Mohini cracked, just a little.
Diya, the reformation of Mohini is around the corner! Closure number doH!
Sona, lovely take ... I wanted to reply to this point you made. I agree completely with this. Bullies continue to bully because people don't take a principled stand. It is wonderful to respect one's parents, but as a husband, Samrat's first duty should be to his wife ... if he had stood up for his wife earlier, Mohini might not have got away with her bullying. The same goes for Danveer. Both were responsible for Maithili's happiness, Samrat as husband and Danveer as FIL and head of the family. Unfortunately very often this happens in real life too ... sons are torn between 'respect' for their mother and the taunts of being 'joru ka ghulam' ... which is perceived to be an insult ... so the wife gets beaten into a corner. The moment a son tells his mother that his wife comes first, the mother will be left powerless. Which can be good or bad, depending on the bahu 😛
I was impatient with Maithili's crying about how she had always been a good wife and DIL, hence she should be given a chance to be a mother. Normally I love Geetanjali, but this dialogue was off the mark for me.
I am not sure what Myrah is up to tomorrow. I hope it is not a financial bailout.
Rudras inner conflict. His attachment to Myrah. For who she is. Not Paro, but a lot like her. So whats not to like?
Vicky said ... Attachment is not subservient to time. Have you never met someone whom you felt you have known for ages, formed a bond with them quicker than others? Danveer once said. To know the truth takes only a second. That aha moment. Archimedes screamed Eureka! And fell out of his bathtub! Insight is not the result of a perfectly drawn decision tree. Our brains work non linearly. And so yes, Rudra with a higher EQ than Rohit, sees things differently.
Everyone read Vickys posts on Rudra and Myrah. At the end of the day that is the only sustainable rationale!
Sadly ... for myself ... I still can't wrap my head around Mryah Rudra ... I can understand Rudra falling for Myrah ... but Myrah for Rudra? Still not happening, despite JJ's story ... I would have much preferred if Rudra fell first, and did the chasing, to convince Myrah that he loves her not as Paro, but as herself. Which is a tough job, as the cvs have painted so many parallels between Myrah and Paro. 😕
T yes, finally Mythili and Samrat were brave enough to stand up for themselves.
Shwets! Maine mana kiya tha naa! Ladies this girl has a problem with her hand, yet she is losing sleep over our collages. First off, saw your twitter id. Great job! Second, Rudra in the center piece... I knew you were going to capture that look that he directed at Rohit. Major saa was back for a few moments yesterday. The four blocker of Myrah and Rudra was beautiful. And the two shot of Mohini and Danveer. Mythili looked heartbreakingly poignant!
You said it ... Shwetha is our star!!! What we can't put into words, she does with her collages! Please everyone lets not mourn the passing of this show. Lets remember it for the happiness it gave us despite its ups and downs. Nothing is perfect. Yet RR outclassed a lot of shows on TV. It still is one of the strongest stories out there.
Shaant to everyone!
