I have been wary of coming to this thread, everytime I find a bit of reprieve my optimism gets shot to hell, I have just this to say now

I am watching Myrah as Paro, superficially we all know and love that it is Sanaya playing both characters, but what we all long for is our Paro back

but as I wait for these tiresome episodes drag itself out, I will just be watching Paro in her 4th shaadi ka jhoda, thats all, running to Rudra,

we heard Paro say that she was the Sati of the story and Myrah is the Parvati, then that is how I will accept that Myrah is Paro, bas, Paro has told us that Myrah is Paro

each successive mrud episode has been more nauseatic than the previous ones. so now Parvati(paro) realizes that she is not Parvati! so now they can butcher paro's belief that she is rudra's parvati too. n actually myrah is parvati-from which angle???? n paro gets an earful for helping her jija while madam myrah gets a thanks, paro fights tejawat, maithli's kidnappers n samrat's kidnappers without rudra n myrah handles her won stupid dumb kidnappers with rudra n she is called brave. Paro stands on one leg to prove her love n myrah's the one who gets to hear these words. h crap cvs. really is this the same team who wrote the original RR. made sure 7 months of beauty has successfully gone down the drain.

still cant get over this mess.

And the last nail in the coffin: Rudra confesses his love for Myrah. The only good feeling I got is that his love declaration was so typical and not special. Then I got sad when I realized that his beautiful 'main tu hamesha' was quickly kicked to the curb, so his boring I love you will be the lasting relationship in his life.

What they have done to Rudra and the show in 2 months is catastrophic. I have never in my life seen a show and characters killed so ruthlessly in the name of 'logic'. I don't believe that they had a shortage of time. They knew 3-4 weeks in advance that the show was going off air. All they needed were 2-3 episodes, same as Rudra's 'love development' for Myrah, to make her Paro. That's all. No, they didn't want to because it's not logical. Paro was shown as dead, therefore she really is. Forget all the epic Parud story - the whole premise of Rangrasiya - that their love was celestial and otherworldly. All for TRPs that they didn't get and the show being cancelled, they killed the entire soul and premise of Rangrasiya.

What I want to ask ST: was it worth it? Is this what you envisioned for your dream project, the one you waited 1-2 years to do with Sanaya and Ashish, the one that you so brilliantly conceived and executed until Paro's death, and the one that you decimated in the end? All it would have taken was just a flick of your pen, that Paro comes back to life so that she would get the happiness she was dying to have her whole life, so that Rudra could get the real colors back in his life, so that Dhruv would get his mother back, so that everyone would be happy. Yet these CVs sacrificed their 'baby' so mercilessly.

I am totally on the ST boycott bandwagon. I will never watch any of his future shows, not even with Sanish. He massacres all of his shows without any creative integrity or pride. He doesn't deserve any of my effort and viewership. He has messed with 3 fan bases, with ours being the most destroyed. I will tell anyone and everyone who wants to watch a ST show not to. I will urge them not to because in the end, he will mess it up. He can go to hell.

Am with you... Can't bring myself to watch y'day's episode after reading the WU...

Was just watching Sherlock Holmes with hubby and they showed Sherlock jump to his death and then brought him back to life 2 years later...but of course our RR writers and their ' logic' does not extend that far...

It's almost like they are deliberately punishing the fans...for what? They could have brought Paro back... Majority of the fans wanted it...It's like the CVs are cutting their nose to spite their face!! Makes no sense to have this ' Happy Ending' when the viewers are not happy...

I read WU and I hate Rudra. The way the CVs have written him is as if Paro never existed and Myrah is his one true love. This is terrible writing, even for the most illogical shows ever made. The great Rudra Pratap Ranawat, the one who declared he couldn't live without Paro, the one whose existence was tied to Paro, has been reduced to a whiny teenage boy who loves his dead wife's look-a-like.

I don't understand why any team of CVs would do this to their dear baby. If even Sherlock brings back the dead, why couldn't ST? Every single show I've seen has somehow given the show proper closure, except for this one. Why not RR? I dont know. Are the CVs punishing us? I don't know. All I know is that they've made a mockery of Rangrasiya and their once beautiful characters and their justifications are as weak as their storytelling post-Paro's death. It's just mind boggling how these same CVs gave us such brilliance in the beginning and reduced the show to this utter mediocrity.

What they have done to Rudra and PaRud is merciless slaughter of their own baby.

Paro was never butchered. Out of everyone, she remained in character until the end except the CVs never gave her the due she deserved. On the other hand, Rudra and Rangrasiya's butchering is on another level of utter disappointment and disgust.

That is a good question the great arthur conan doyle listened to the pleading of his fans to bring back sherlock alive and he did and you know why because he didn't want his lasting legacy to be filled with tears he didn't want sherlock to be remembered with tears. This was a different a generation, before TV, before email, before twitter before facebook people wrote to him and he reconsidered even though he truly felt sherlock being the tragic figure he is had to die but as much as tragic he is he is more loved and that love should give happiness. Tolkien thought of killing frodo along with the ring but he couldn't bare that pain not after how much frodo suffered. J.K. Rowling was asked did she consider killing harry in the end and she said I would have died a million times if harry died.

The sort of ending RR creatives desired for RR is equal to what would have happened if cinderella's prince never found her glass slippers, what would have happened if prince phillip never kissed to wake up sleeping beauty, what would have happened if snow white died, what is romeo didn't die with his juliet. There are such stories very rare are these stories where only one ending is conceivable only one. I am not placing RR in the same pool as the rest of the indian tele soaps, anyone who watched this show will say RR is beyond all that it was so much more. I think even competing for TRPs was too beneath its grandeur, TRPs symbolize mediocrity. I wondered if the RR creatives realized how good their show was, TRPs come and go, hindi shows will come and go but nothing lasts. Hindi shows are created only for entertainment they are not meant to be admired, you laugh at them and you forget them. But RR wasn't like that it wasn't just another show, it is a story, it is a legacy something to be remembered forever, something that would have lasted.

Once upon a time there lived a beast named Rudra who fell in love with a beauty named Paro. Beauty tamed the beast and her love transformed him but he remains the beast that the beauty fell in love with. Together they created magic dead came to life, what was lost once was gained, where there were tears now there are smiles. They are two halves of the same body, heart and soul. Beauty and Beast had two beautiful princes and they lived happily ever after. The end.

I had stopped watching the show but my bad luck that curiosity got the better of me & I watched it last night...how I wish I hadn't ? The entire scene was so CRINGY...it made me cringe & pukey...it was nauseating in the highest degree possible...it was horny & lechrous...it was like if a woman is being molested would I find it hot & sensuous ? If YES then it was hot, sizzling but if the answer is NO then it was nauseating. raunchy , pukey , oversexed in a filthy way...Rudra was like a pig, for the first time I hated him & for the first time I loved Rohit...in comparison he looked sophisticated, dignified & suave ...if I was Myrah I would run miles & miles away from Rudra & thank my stars to have someone like Rohit in my life.

Well...every dark cloud has a silver lining & in this case the silver lining is that just 2 more days & then it's over because for a person like me whose determination levels aren't something to sing about,it's very easy to slip & forget tht I have decided not to watch it...I end up watching & then feel miserable like I did last night...& for this I am greatful to Colors ( I NEVER thought I would feel this way but it changed after watching the epi last night ) for having the wisdom & foresight to see that Myrud love story has no depth so it's better to pull the plugs...I might sound selfish ( I don't care ) but then I am not Paro who would always think of others over herself...
