I don't know about recently but in 2010 this is what happened to a show Bairi Piya & that was on Colors . The ML of that show was in the previous show that I watched for a few months, hence my knowledge .

ok, i get that show, guys ...

dears, as compared to color's new shows...that show was better trp wise ... but not when we compare it with zee's other shows which are always in 4-5 trp ...

and that show never got any good trps either... so i am not shocked if they decided to shut that show ..

here its different because colors 8 months back launched shows and all newly launched shows are in the same bracket ..

trps may not be the ultimate decision factor , but if the show doesnt show any chance of improved future cash flow is

whatever trps that the show got is after a major change (kill the lead , change the BG , change the story all of it ) still if it doesnt show good returns now it can be intepreted that the returns in future will fade away too ,in that case the channelmay not continue to invest in the show both in time and money

the other shows also might go off air if the case is same but at different times
