I have moved on. Rang Rasiya ended for me on 30th July and since then I have stopped watching the sequel for the following two reasons:
1. Like I have only one mom and one dad, I have accepted my spouse as one for me. Life or death, good or bad, I won't let anyone to share any space with her under any circumstance. The sequel directly contradicts with one of my life's core principles.
2. I found Paro as a larger than life unique character representing majority of Indian women - for thousands of years who have shaped our lives through the power of love. I understand she is a fictional character but I like logic in fiction. There has been a lot of name calling against her (boring, no shades, doormat, docile, etc.) - I found her as the strongest female character ever after Nargis of Mother India I have come across in the sub-continental films or television programs. Credit goes to Sanaya for fantastically depicting the character. Irrespective of TRP, business, online viewers, wishes of fanatics, the makers should have continued the story with Paro. Someone has to break the mold and there is nothing in the world which will cater everyone. It is much more important to create a new viewers group rather than always feeding the existing one as they have many options. Finally look-a-like except identical twins is scientifically impossible and illogical so I have stopped watching.
Wishing every married couple a PaRud like transparent bonding where the river of deep love and trust runs through hamesha.
