@bold - that's what I expected too.

Maybe Mala is shopping for her son. She has a saree with this combination. The man looks great in black or dark blue not red unless its a kurtha. What in the world was the costume designer thinking.

He is a very handsome man, no doubt about it. That's why it hurts my eyes to see him in that appalling creation. He'd probably look good even in a jester's outfit, but doesn't mean I'd like to see him in one.

And really... how hard is it to get some distinguished suits for his character?

I didnt like Sanaya's outfit either...as they both look naturally handsome/beautiful, they pulled it off..sigh..

I don't know know why our TV world costume so called "designers" are stuck in this 1960's world where colourful suits ruled.

No man should ever ever ever wear colourful suits. They look hideous. Period.

No. 1 Rule of Fashion: Mens' suits should only be black, grey, dark dark blue, beige (possibly), or dark brown.
All other colours should be burned!

I know...and I completely feel you! Like I absolutely LOVE a guy in a suit esp a good looking one...whose got the height, physique and face (Ashish is blessed with all three)...but damn those colours bother me haha! That's what happens when you have a fashion designer as a best friend and also studied it yourself at some point lol! I'm just particular about clothes...but I respect peoples individual taste too

Well, if we are bothered to such an extent, one could imagine Ashish Sir's reaction when they asked him to wear it for the shot, given, I presume, is graduate in Fashion Designing from NIFT! He must have gone - !

TRPs ke liye kya-kya jhelna padta hai! 😆😆

Only one think that might justify the look is that - Baarish ke mausam mein ppl like wearing colorful kapde, so maybe this is what the tailor had in mind while stitching the suit! 😆😆

But sometimes bad taste is just that...bad taste...

No harm in calling a spade a spade.

If a supposedly professional singer sings out of tune, then he's a bad singer.

If a supposedly professional cook makes burnt food, then he's a bad cook.

This prevailing tendency to make TV heroes wear hideously colourful suits...it's just bad taste...
