Thank you. Agree with you completely, with or without Paro, they would have been stuck at that aat saal har raat phase. Mala doesn't recognize him as the son she had left behind. First question is who will tell her, Rudra himself or Tejawat. Then comes the question of what she will do next with that knowledge.

Wow Rithu. I like the closure you gave Laila. You stayed true to her character. That sarcastic taunting way of talking but when the intentions are good it feels so much more appealing. I am glad that she is not going to be troubling Rudra and Paro anymore. Paro is not aware that her Mumbai groom is not coming I assume :) And did Mala just attack Rudra. Is she going to come to know that he is her son. I am waiting to read the next installment.

You assume correctly, Paro has no clue about the no show doctor. Rudra banna is keeping this to himself.
Mala will soon be face to face with the repercussions of her past actions.

Thank you, Sush. Aman is a good brother, he knows how to explain things in terms that Paro will understand. Rudra is gonna have only that on his mind until something else happens.
I understand that you have doubts about Laila's credibility. I didn't want to spend more than an update on her story as she is not my favourite character. I'll explain as best as I can.
Laila met Paro to ruin things for her and Rudra hoping that he will come back to her once Paro rejects his advances. But when she realised the purity of Paro's love, it made her think about what she is missing. And how nice it would be to be loved as unconditionally as Paro loved Rudra. She then met Govind who had tidings of her father's death and she went to meet her widowed mother. She saw how well the man she left at the mandap took care of her parents as if they were his own. She saw that the love and affection that was there in his eyes remained unchanged even after all these years. So she made the choice of staying with the man who waited for her all through the years rather than pine for the man who will never come back to her. She knew that if he never considered her as anything more than a bed mate for eight years she never would mean more. It was time she accepted it and made a life for herself without him in it.
As for how she found out about Tejawat's plans. Its a dhabha were all sorts of people come, eat and gossip. She could have heard of it like that. Or there must be a snitch who works for Tejawat who keeps passing on information to her on a regular basis since this case began for free drinks or something she could provide for him.
Your confusion is not silly at all. Its a big loop hole, I left out of sheer laziness and disinterest in telling Laila's story. Hope I have clarified your doubt.

Rejecting an opportunity always makes you wonder about the what ifs. And for a girl who was raised to dream of a husband like Bholenath and two sons its going to be hard making any decision coming to marriage. And it will be harder to voice it out without thinking of a half a dozen consequences that are possible in a rural patriarchal set up.
Vani, he has great hair and its his best feature when he has it trimmed on a regular basis. The next couple of chapters deal with the Rudra-Mala-Tejawat story.

Laila needs her own Prem Leela to keep her happy and out of trouble. And she has a good heart so had to give her someone who would appreciate her and put up with her craziness.
RR always had villains who played cupid to our dear Parud and Rudra is smart enough to notice.
Deeps right now only the pandit is at the temple. Paro is safe and well in the general's home. And Rudra is stuck in the tunnel to Tejawat's home and doesn't know it yet. So breathe at least for the next couple of updates.
Mala doesn't know whom she hit. She is just being a good wife, protecting her husband's domain.
Aman is excited about his upcoming nupitals. He does seem like the blushing type.
I know I'm a little cruel to you guys for creating the suspense. But I wouldn't hurt Rudra, he has such pretty hair 😉 .
