"Parvati, I have to go. I have my shoot tonight which I can't avoid. Please change your dress and sleep. Don't wait for me, I will be late" Rudra said while changing his sherwani and putting on his denim and a T, and without looking at his newlywed wife , he exited the room.

Parvati looked at the mehendi on her hand and then at her blood red joda. Forcing a smile on her face, she got up to do as said.

Atleast he cared to inform.

"Rudra , I am going to visit my Mami, will you came with me? " Parvati asked hopefully.

Rudra was getting ready for the day's shoot when he heard Parvati and turned to look at her.

"Parvati, do you have any idea how busy I am? Do you think I have time to visit everyone with you? If you want to go then you can, but I am not coming. But return home before evening" Rudra said and exited the room.

Parvati looked at Rudra, exiting the room. A single tear rolled on her cheek but she brushed it away immediately and plastered a smile, as always.

Atleast he wants her to return back

"Parvati what happened?" Rudra asked, as he entered the room after his jogging. She's usually up by now.

"Nothing. I think I am having a headache" Parvati smiled.

"Oh! I will tell Aman to get you a Doctor's appointment. Driver will drop you to the hospital. I am in a hurry, today. Don't bother about the breakfast, I will shower and leave" Rudra said and entered the bathroom.

Parvati slowly laid on the mattress, her heart again trying to find a reason to smile and soon found one.

Atleast he cared to ask.

Rudra kissed her neck and smoothly glided the pallu off her shoulder. He moved up, kissing her chin, cheek and finally resting his lips on hers. He again descended down after taking his fill of her soft petals and sweet nectar. But he halted as he felt her not reciprocating today. He lifted his head from the crook of her neck.

"Parvati, what happened?"

"I...I.."

"You what?"

"I...I ...I am tiered" Parvati said in a low voice, three words taking all her courage to come out.

"Why?" Rudra let out through his gritted teeth.

"I...I..." Parvati stammered, controlling her tears.

"You what, ha? I will tell you why! Because you roam around in the house, doing all house chores like a maid! Tell me Parvati, are you my maid or my wife? I know you are habitual to do all this but now you are MY wife, Rudra Ranawat's wife, India's biggest star's wife. Do you get me?" Rudra asked her, shaking her by her shoulder.

Parvati closed her eyes as some tears spilled out.

"Don't show me your tears! I don't know what magic you have done on Babu-sa, that he blackmailed me to marry a girl like you! For the last time Parvati, you are my wife and I want you to behave like one. Are you listening to me?"

Parvati trembled in his hold but nodded timidly.

Rudra left her shoulder with a jerk and collecting his shirt from beside her, he exited the room.

Parvati slummed on the bed as silent sobs wrecked her body. But like always her heart didn't betrayed her this time too, this time too it supplied a condolement.

Atleast he wants her.

Parvati pushed the door open and entered the dark room. Hey Bhoolenath, she is afraid of dark! But still gathering her all courage, she entered the room.

"Rudra !!"

"Rudra , where are you?"

"Rudra !"

"Rudr..." Parvati stopped as her eyes caught a silhouette standing near the window and staring out.

Parvati took hesitant steps towards him and kept a hand on his shoulder.

"Rudra , Dinner is ready, came..." Parvati entwined her fingers with his.

Rudra turned to look at her through his inebriated eyes.

"You have your dinner, I will have it later.." Rudra said and tried to dislodge his hand from hers, but Parvati tightened her hold.

Rudra lifted his eyes to look into her's.

"Parvati, I said go!" Rudra tried in a high pinch.

But Parvati stood there grounded at her spot. She inched closer to him and placed her palm on his cheek.

"Rudra ,aap bhi chaliye na. Aap ke bina main bhi khaana nahi khaungi.." Parvati said, softly caressing his cheek.

Rudra looked in her warm eyes. Clenching his jaw, he jerked her away from him and flunked the glass which was in his hand, the glass shattering in thousand pieces.

"I don't need anyone's sympathy, do you get me? I said go and leave me alone! I SAID GO!!" Rudra clamored in a loud tone, making Parvati jump in fright.

But Parvati gathered herself and moved towards him. She looked in his seething eyes. Avoiding his simmering look, she again went towards him.

Rudra looked at her, his eyes emitting fire and nostrils flaring. He saw her coming close to him and resting her head on his chest. Her hand slowly moved to his shoulder as she hugged him close.

Rudra closed his eyes and fisted his palm to his side. What is he suppose to do with her?

"Sab kuch theek hojayega, Rudra . Aap Ghabraeeye maat, main hoon aap ke saath. Sab theek hojayega..." Parvati consoled him, as if he were a child, running her soft hands on his back.

"Why?"

Parvati lifted her confused gaze at him.

"Why are you with me? Leave me, like everyone is leaving..."

Parvati shook her head at him, her eyes brimming with tears. She hugged him again.

"Main aapko chhod kar kaha jaaungi, Rudra ? I can never leave you. Never!" Parvati tightened her hold on him.

Rudra closed his eyes. The held tears threatening to flow down. His hand slowly crept on her waist. He cradled her small frame into his big one.

"Leave me, Parvati. I am ruined, a failed man. Now I have nothing left. So leave me and go away.."

But Parvati tightened her hold and shook her head.

"No, Rudra . I will not leave you. Don't be sacred, I am there with you and will be always with you, no matter what you have and what you don't. Don't be afraid.." Parvati consoled, running her fingers in his hair.

Rudra smiled at his wife. What is she made up of? He had never cared for her and she has only cared about him. He was always concerned for his career and she only for him. He had always overlooked her and she had neglected everything but him.

"Why, Parvati? Why you will not leave me?"

Parvati lifted her head from his chest to look at him. Her cheeks drenched with tears. Parvati smiled at him and took his one hand in hers and kept on her heart.

"Kyunki main aapse pyaar karti hoon, Rudra . I can never leave you..."

Rudra looked at her dumbfounded. How can she love him after everything he had done to her? He lifted his hand from her heart and moved away as if frightened by the love he was seeing in her eyes.

He moved and crumbled in a corner, his eyes closed and resting on the wall. The guilt of never reciprocating her feeling crawling on his whole being.

Parvati saw him sitting in the corner. She went and sat beside him. She stared at him, his eyes close. She saw him for few moments and then noticed a small pearl of tear rolling down his cheek. She lifted her hand and wiped the tear away.

"Rudra , I said na, everything will be alright. Believe me. Sab theek hojayega... Bhoolenath sab theek kardenge.."

Rudra opened his eyes and looked in her hopeful eyes, the hope which he had long lost.

" Why you love me Parvati? Because I am your husband?"

Parvati shook her head at him.

"I don't know why I love you. It's isn't because you are my husband or because I feel obliged to love you. I NEED to love you, I WANT to love you, just like I need my next breath but I don't know why..."

Rudra looked at her innocent face. Is he so lucky that he has her in his life? Does he deserve her love? He had no answer to that! But like a man deprived of everything, he selfishly wanted to hold on to her. He inched towards her and crashed her into his arms, clinging to her like a lost child.

"I am unable to understand anything, Parvati. I don't know what to do. No one wants to work with me... "

"It's ok, Rudra. Everyone faces low. No need to be afraid of it. We will face it together. I am there with you.." Parvati consoled him, running her hand on his back.

Rudra buried his face in the crook of her neck.

"I don't know, Parvati. I am so tired of fighting...I..."

"No, Rudra don't say that. We will fight it together. I am there Ok.."

Rudra lifted his head.

"You will not leave me like others?"

"Never! Pinky promise"

Rudra let out a soft chuckle and hugged her again.

"Thank you so much, Parvati!"

"Rudra?" Parvati asked after few moments of silence.

"Yes?"

"Rudra ...Aman ji told that...that you have been offered to host a show on Television and...and you refused to do it. Rudra, ...there's isn't anything wrong in taking it. We can start afresh from there" Parvati suggested hesitantly.

Rudra broke the hug and looked at her. He cupped her face.

"Do you want me to do that?" Rudra asked, caressing her face with his thumb.

Parvati nodded her head.

"Ok then, I will do it.."

"For me?" Parvati asked, her heart flooded with joy.

"Yes, ONLY for you..." Rudra smiled.

Parvati gave her beautiful smile to him.

2 years later.

Rudra was sitting on his chair. Thumbing his leg, hell nervous.

"And this year's best Actor award goes to Rudra Ranawat " The hosts voice boomed in the venue.

Rudra got up from the chair and strode towards the stage, as fast as he can.

Rudra went and took the award and without waiting for anything, he started leaving the stage, ignoring the host.

Rudra immediately strode towards the exit, his PA, Aman following him behind.

"Where's the damn car, Aman? Get it fast!!" Rudra shouted at Aman.

"Yes sir I will bring. Just a second.." And with that Aman hurried towards the parking lot.

Rudra entered the car and started the ignition without wasting for a second. He threw the award in the backseat and drove towards his destination.

...

Rudra entered the hospital and strode towards the room where he knew his Parvati is. Taking long stride, he entered the room without permission.

"Parvati?"

Parvati lifted her eyes to look at him and passed a smile.

"Parvati! You idiot, I have told that I don't want to leave you but you? when have you listened to me? You wanted me to go at that forsaken award show."

Rudra went and caught her hand in his.

"Mr.Ranawat, stop talking, she is in labor." Doctor chided Rudra.

"Oh! Yes I am sorry. Are you Ok, Paro?"

Parvati nodded her head, trying hard not to show the pain on her face.

"Breath, ok...I am here with you...breath..."

Rudra removed his kerchief from his pocket and started soaking the perspiration from her forehead.

"I am fine, Rudra...ahhh...I am fine" Parvati squeezed his hand tightly.

"You will be fine...shhh.. don't talk...concentrate ok?...I am here...breath.." Rudra rasped, anxiously.

Parvati nodded her head and bit her lips to stop the painful moan.

Rudra kept on soaking her sweats and whispering sweet nothings to her.

And soon the room was filled with the wailing sound of a baby. Rudra's hand halted on Parvati's forehead. He turned to look at the Doctor.

"The baby is girl, right?" Rudra asked to the Doctor.

Doctor smiled at him and shook her head.

"Sorry to disappoint you, Mr.Ranawat but it's a boy. I will clean him and bring back" Doctor chuckled.

Rudra nodded his head and looked at Parvati.

"Paro it's a boy, I lost the bet!" Rudra pouted at her.

Parvati just hummed in reply, too exhausted to say anything.

"Paro are you alright? Please open your eyes" said a panicked Rudra.

"Mr. Ranawat, don't disturb her. She is fine, just exhausted" The nurse smiled at Rudra.

Rudra nodded his head at her. He again looked at Parvati. He sat beside her, just looking at her sweet face. He bent and softly pecked her lips.

"Mr. Ranawat! Here's your baby.." Doctor handed the baby to his father.

Rudra extended his hand and took the baby in his arms, looking mesmerized at the small creature.

Rudra saw Parvati's eyes fluttered open. Smiling, he kept the baby beside Parvati.

"Paro, our baby"

Parvati looked beside, her eyes filling with tears. She took baby's small fist in her.

"He is so small, Rudra .." Parvati choked out, the happiness making her unable to talk.

Rudra smiled at Parvati. He bent and kissed her.

"Thank you for coming in my life, Paro. And thank you for giving me this happiness" He bent and kissed his Son.

"Rudra , where is your award?" Parvati asked.

"Award? ...hmm...I don't remember..."

"What? You didn't go, right? You lied to me. You Jallad."

"No No, Paro...I went...I ...I...yes..its in my car..sacchi, I will show you afterwards "

Parvati smiled at him.

"Thank you.."

"Thank YOU.."

"I Love You"

"I love YOU more"

"I love you 2, 3, 4, 5" Parvati giggled.

"I love you infinity.." Rudra laughed at her.

Rudra took the baby in his arms and laid beside Parvati.

" Love you Hamesha.." Rudra kissed her cheek.

"Love you forever..." Parvati rewarded him with a kiss.

Rudra took his family in his strong arms. Promising to love and protect them always.
