These lines are " to die for " Napster...sooo true but so easily forgotten by us... I have critisized her characterization many a times but now come to think of it , there was no NEED for that...She is a woman of positive influence , a woman of power...' woman of power ' because she has achieved the impossible ... she has got a man like Rudra eating out of her hands...he can't function without her...take Paro away from him & he will crumble like a pack of cards...Paro has become his LIFE , he can probably function without oxygen but not without his Paro & it is her greatest achievement... What better compliment can a woman get than the fact that she is the LIFELINE of her husband. I don't think any college degree or any career would give half as much joy/satisfaction as this FACT to a woman, IMO.

Monday mornings have become very special for me for obvious reasons.

To be honest, I don't read too many IF posts. I am terribly self-indulgent, I just make my own posts or trawl through specific ones by stalking people (basically you). I don't read tweets by fandom (have you tried to, it is a deluge and impossible to keep up). I only read Tumblr posts, where people are more... I don't know.. together. Plus everyone on Tumblr fangirls over so many things simultaneously, one show does not consume us. Most importantly, Tumblr has a mute button feature. (IF is a product of the stone-ages, which is why it does not allow for any filtering) But occasionally, as a character building exercise, I do read posts where even the post title seems like an obvious troll-bait. And I am usually amused not saddened or offended (except for overzealous dangling prepositions).

But from my experience of being more active on this forum for another show that had a.. umm.. bitter end, I totally understand that the constant doomsday prophecies ruins the experience of others.

Anyway after that pointless digression, I have to say, I would like to watch it for a little while longer too, but not too long that I decide to sign a petition for them to end it. I agree with what you say about the makers doing a decent job. I was making a VM recently and used scenes from the episodes of the last few weeks and realised that I had reasonable number of nice scenes to choose from. So things are certainly not as bleak as some make them to be. But I find it unacceptable when they start blaming the system and admit that they are "experimenting" for TRPs. It seems like such a dishonest way to tell the story. Gussa to jayaz hain iss baat par. Because you have to wonder about what all they would have done had they maintained the integrity of the story. I think the makers need to be more responsible in the things they say too. We can't take all the blame for the negativity. But at least they have not said that the "story has run its course" 😆 If they do that, I will come to India and... well, hand over printouts of great fanfiction.. but then again, it is not so easy to get an Indian visa.
