A lot was said post the Rudra Birthday episode which showed a reconciliation between mother and son; the speed at which it happened, how easy it was, that the CVs just wanted to finish off the track...but I don't believe that is the case, not then and surely not after watching the later episodes.

The first step in the recovery of every addict or alcoholic is to first admit they have a problem. Similarly, in the case of our favorite banna, he had to first and foremost acknowledge the presence of his mother in his life again...and that is precisely all that happened that day.

There is still hesitancy and resistance in the way he talks to her and interacts which only shows that he is on the path to total reconciliation and not yet there. We cannot negate the fact that 15 years of solitude and hurt that he has lived will not take time to heal. It will! And showing a quick and easy forgive and forget was not something that anyone wanted.

Our CVs are intelligent people or else this story that started off with so much angst and intensity, so different from the others, would have never made it to our screen and our hearts. I think we should just give them time to tell their story. True as fans we will always react but can we give them the benefit of the doubt??

Just my thoughts that I felt like sharing on the somewhat negativity that is plaguing the forum right now. You don't have to agree...but if you do, do share your thoughts as well.

Hi,

Lovely post..agree with the highlighted parts.

I am one of those who had problem with maa track from the beginning. Somehow the fact that she left him with an abusive father did not sit well with me. For that alone, mala was/ is still beyond redemption for me but somehow rudra forgiving his mother did not surprise me. I still dont think he has forgiven his mother. There is no reconciliation yet. Its indifference on his part. He is just tired of his past. He is tired of running away. Maa doesnt matter anymore. Her desertion doesnt matter. He wants to move forward with his paro. Paro matters. He is seeing his world through paro. Paro-- His birthday wish. The first person he wanted to feed cake. He turned to his parents because she asked him to. He 'Accepted' mala for His Paro. This stalker track may bring both closer but paro will always be his universe.
