She may not know words like "Reverse Phycology", but all mothers in the world - rich, poor, educated, uneducated, from village or from city knows how to handle kids. Mothers sometime trick kids to make them do what they want by little "manipulation". This is what Paro is doing ... (after all Rudra acts like one sometime or may be most times)

It is not the first time she is using tactics with Rudra - during fake marriage period- she tempted him to think of all his dreams, after all he must have some dreams about his marriage. How had he imagined his wife, her laughter, smile etc...? When that greener pasture could not gave the effective results she changed her tactics and agreed for the marriage and toppled Rudra's plan to get any confession.

Similarly, in current track she pursued her gently telling her cross over the boundaries you yourself have created, there is happiness across there... greener pasture, I am with you "hamesha" and along with us there will be entire family we all will be together & happy.

But did he understand? No. KCM has correctly named him "Unt" ie camel. He just does not understand when you talk to him straight and simple.

Paro baisa need to change strategy, after all you cannot extract ghee with straight figure (seedhi ungali se ghee nahi nikalta).

Re precap, CV need to open new track if MALA saga is ending don't we want to have more of RR.?

Thanks ... and I loved Paro's approach too! 😃

Don't know about Paro, but I am getting tired of Rudra wallowing in his morass of self pity now. He needed a jhatka ... and that's what Paro gave him. She tried sweet talking, she tried giving him examples, she tried to make him see his mother's POV ... but all he can think about it ... "mommy left me ... waaah!!!"

He is a grown man ... he has not thought once about how his mother lived through thirteen years of abuse and unhappiness, just for his sake. He tells Paro to forget about her first marriage, her feeling of betrayal ... because it's not about HIM. He doesn't seem to have any consideration for anyone else's feelings at all ... it's all about HIM. He needs to grow up!!!

Paro is sure a smart stubborn cookie, who is not the one to give up. Sure she is succeeding in backing out from the front and attacking from behind, it was a treat to watch everyone flummoxed.
What's with the precap, Paro seems to be having gala time making Rudra slave in the sbs.
Malini

Thanks, Malini. Have read a good many posts from people I like, who did not like this Paro, and thought she was being pushy again. I think after that last sob dialogue by Rudra, she just gave up!

Hopefully this was her plan ... she gave Rudra what he said he wants ... and let him figure out that it's actually not what he wants after all.

I feel one of the biggest disconnects with this show is because the writers have not delved into the feelings of the female characters at all. Paro has been poorly sketched, and her emotions have always been given short shrift ... and now, this main track of Rudra and his mother, they have not given us much reason to feel sorry for Mala at all. They have presented two very radical ideas in this show ...a widow marrying her husband's killer ... and a woman running away from a bad marriage and finding love again. Two very unique concepts ... and they have not justified EITHER of the the female viewpoints at all well. It's all been about Rudra and his feelings, his pain, his anguish, his heartbreak ... yada yada yada ...

That's where the biggest disconnect lies.

I wish they had given importance to Paro and Mala ... even now, a few flashbacks of Mala pining for Rudra over the years, sending men out to trace Rudra and Dilsher ... swearing that the minute she traces her son, she will tell Teju about him and bring him to her ... would have made all the difference. But the cvs seem bent on showing things only from Rudra's viewpoint ... and his viewpoint currently is that of a sulky tantrum throwing child. No wonder no one can connect to any of the characters.

I loved the way Paro put Rudra in a fine dilemma yesterday making him unable to comprehend Paro and at the same time confused at the dormant love bursting from within wanting him to desperately reach out to his mother...and with this ...a stop perhaps to the reconciliation track. Great to witness another shade in Sanaya"s act... She is excellent and the best.

Thanks, nerina. I have vented enough in the post above, so won't repeat 😛 Am glad Paro is showing Rudra what the consequences of his actions would be, if she went along with him. And forcing him to acknowledge his dormant feelings for his mother ... not so dormant, actually ... because if he really hated her, he would have thrown her out or ignored her.

Sanaya was awesome ... I was trying to figure out if this was Paro's plan or she was really just fed up ... both Sanaya and Paro seem to be awesome actresses! 😆 After this, I really want to see her in a role with grey shades ... would be fabulous!

Hi Diya,

Great analysis as usual and it was a different kind of episode because roles were switched today.😊

Major Paro- He cannot let go of his past no matter what and it scares him to move on so Paro Bai Sa has no other option but to go in reverse gear.😊

First, she tells Mala to come to the Mandir with her, refuses her help in the kitchen, and is very well aware that Major is around😊 She even asked him to remove the almirah, put all the photographs in one cloth, which hurt Mala and Major. She also tells Mala that she is a guest in the house which shocks the Ranawat except for KCM.

Major can't take it any more so he snaps at Paro and asks her about her behavior and then she says Maasa. Major is shell shocked and he does say how come you made such a big turn backwards?😊 Till yesterday, you were on her side. Paro Bai Sa reminds him that yesterday she was her Maasa but today she is her mother-in-law, whose son doesn't love her, who left her son and went away. I have a question for Paro Bai Sa. What kind of juice did she drink today?😆

Did it affect Major? It affected him more than he thought and hoping things are going to change in the positive direction from here.😊 He is going to speak sooner or later because he is feeling it from inside. Remember how he never liked Paro at that time but nevertheless took a slap for her. I do see him speaking up soon on this matter and this thing has to settle down before we can get any Parud moments so hopefully things will move on from here and we can get some Parud scenes.
😊

Precap- Hoping Paro Bai Sa is safe and nothing happens to her.😊

Hi Tn ... lovely post ... felt good to read it after the negativity in our other haunt 😃

Paro did a role reversal today ... and it shocked the Major out of his wits 😆 He's been cribbing that she has ignored his hurt over his mother, for her love for her mother ... today she ignored her mother, and made it all about HIS mother, the one who hurt him ... and he didn't like that either! Major saab is very confused! 😆 Hopefully this will drive home to him what he is doing ... we can get some reconciliation ... and then a more PaRud centered story.

You know there is a saying that 'keep praying you just might get what u asked for!' and lol so now they r getting it and will understand how utterly unnatural and wrong it feels!! 😆

Writers pulled out a fab one out with that cz every1 was like Paro should stop and be mad on his behalf n there u go this is how it looks like!!!

Awesome take di!! loved reading it!! :D

PS: This is like that villain act she did with Shyamu abt wanting revenge! Like that this is another shade of Sanaya's acting I have never seen before n she pulled it off fabulously!!

Sunara 😆 You bet!!!

Did she do it as a plan ... or was it just out of sheer frustration that nothing she said was getting through to him? Either way, it felt so wrong, and so absolutely NOT Paro ... no wonder the entire household was shell shocked. 😆

Loved her in this act ... I want that role with grey shades even more now! 😉

Loved reading your post ... I have mixed feelings about the epi ... Will wait for the track to unfold before passing any judgements ... Here is an edit for you ...

Thanks, Shweta, beautiful collage ... love the way you've captured everyone's expressions at Paro baisa's volte face!!! 😆 Says it all ... especially Mohini exulting ... little does she know!

Have said the same above ... did Paro plan this, or did she just give up and decide to go along with Rudra, because nothing she said was making a difference? Either way, seems it will work ... so good for Paro!

Paro has evolved very wonderfully. From a quiet timid girl to a person in charge. She knows what she wants and is going for it. If it doesn't work this way, let me try another way. Never giving up. Fully focused on her goal of making her husband free of past demons, she is on a roll. Go Girl!

I like the current Paro, strong and determined. Rudra is sharp as well (at least most times), he should get what Paro is up to. I hope he realizes it is okay to let go.

Thank you 😊

Rudra should figure out what she's doing ... but since he has not shown much sharpness during this track, I wonder if he will figure this one out. For the moment, he is too shocked at this new tez bahu avatar of Paro 😆

Reverse Psychology, manipulation, a little trickery...whatever...if a specific goal needs to met I say go for it. It is used by parents, siblings, friends, bosses, spouses and sweethearts. I use it on my boyfriend and he does the same...we just don't admit to it!! 😆
Of course it has to be subtle, used rarely and as a last resort for good and positive results.

Rudra finds himself alone (at least he thinks he is) and goes down happy memory lane and is "caught" by Paro.
Paro listened to all Rudra had to say and has said to her already about what matters to him.
For him everything starts and ends with Paro. She is all he needs and does not want his old wounds to surface.
So she gave him exactly that. Now all that matters to her is his happiness; she understands that only she can give it to him, apologizes to him for forgetting that love cannot be forced and she will see to it that he is happy.
Segregation in the family - Paro-Rudra and "them".
Paro takes several steps to exclude Mala and old memories because they clearly make Rudra unhappy.
Paro's openly rude behavior to Mala in the storeroom leaves everyone in shock.😲
KCM is the only one brimming with glee. Oh wow Paro just made her job easier. Both will be thrown out-two less deaths to plan. She couldn't wait to give her "mausam" ding.
Mala cleans up nice...fancy chappals and all. No one assisted her!!

Rudra follows Paro to their room and confronts her. What was all that...her behavior to "that woman" is not acceptable to him. She apologizes if he feels that she was wrong. Paro explains and he listens to her... that woman is her sasuma, the one he doesn't want or care for and the one who causes him pain.

Paro created a practical visual presentation of what he wants and is wishing for.
She has given him choices and he will need to be the one to choose. All is not perfect, but he has to take steps to heal himself, for him, for them and their future. He has Paro and he is her first priority, but their family matters even when they are not perfect.

Beautiful take, Kerrie ... @bold ... Perfect!!!

She has shown him both sides of the coin ... now he has to make the choice. To live with his demons all his life ... or to step out of the shadows, and make peace with the past. What's done is done, he can't change it ... but he can decide what his future will be like.

And good or bad, one cannot forget one's parents. They are human, they also make mistakes ... but they matter.
