We needed this conflict....

Love...although it can have all the hues of emotions, can sometimes seem bland. And since a while, several have felt that the Rudra Paro equation has lost its searing passion and burning intensity. Marriage tends to do that...😆!! You know I have always maintained that Romeo Juliet, Laila (oops 😃) Majnu, Sohni Mahiwal were all great love stories...cause they never got married!!Shaadi hui hoti toh all extra ordinary would have become ordinary!! Majnu would be cross with Laila cause dinner mein khichdi pakayi and Juliet would be furious with Romeo cause he took away her credit card...lo batao...😃!! Bhindi and Aloo are all fine, but we that makes the story vegetate. What is needed is some passion not paratha! In short domestication of a love story does not have many buyers. Marriage in telly land has its reasons...but...
Sorry, coming to the point finally...it was getting sweet...peaceful...mundane...and routine...it was time to spice it up!! And finally we get what we desperately needed...a conflict!! (oh we have plenty of conflict in the forum, more than I can handle 😆, but this is about the show!) We needed fight, anger, hate, pain and angst, like a drowning man needs a life jacket! We needed to feel some resistance, some issues, some push and pull between the two protagonists. A conflict was desperately needed. After all for how long can we see them playing house?? How long should a bubble last?? A reality check was long due. We needed to see his angst, his need, his desperation for her too. His desire, his grief, his hopeless love for her. His struggle, his fight for his love...all...so much and much more is needed to bring flavor to this saga. And we needed to see her walk away, her resistance, her refusal, her strength, her stubborn not giving in or giving up, her standing up to him, etc.
Finally the cvs throw this show a life line. I see some hope on the horizon. Although the news of their separation have many heartbroken, I on the contrary am happy!! Finally, shaken out of domestic stupor, pushed out of mediocre domestic bliss are, our Paro and Rudra, and finally we get some action. Now we see some rage, some passion, tears, betrayal, pain and acceptance. Not to mention pain and pleasure, love and denial, attraction and abandon...now they will go through it all.
To maintain the interest of the viewers, to keep up some suspense, to keep our hearts racing, and our pulses storming...they had to push Paro and Rudra away!! Bohot ho gaya meetha pyaar, ab chahiye kuch teekhi takraar! Looking forward to some tumultuous and turbulent, stormy and difficult times ahead...the worse the better!! 😛
P.S...Love is a very individual thing. Each to his/her own. The definitions, interpretations will always differ from one to another.

Hope you are well Eve,

Yes looks like we have a very turbulent times ahead. Most of it I am liking excepting the reason which they are using for separation... i.e. the wrecked Mannath! wish they used something else. Anyway... I am also interested in finding out how they are going to get Laila back into Haveli and that too on back of Mala when Mala herself is a persona non grata!

WORD! I've been saying the same since yesterday...CONFLICT is BACK...and boy does that make me happy...the story definitely needed this...but then again it needed all that has happened till this point also to make this CONFLICT worth the while now...so it all connects in some sense.

I for one am really looking forward to the conflict, the heartbreak, the angst, the hurt...this was needed as you said...the story is poised at a very interesting point now indeed if only they capitalize on it nicely.

I am as well as a telly show viewer can be 😃!!
And the trend is changing, something different and exciting is happening, is enough for me. You know what they say beggars cant be choosers. So, no use saying anything..right??
And honestly, getting Laila in an out of the haveli does not seem to be a problem with this bunch of cvs...they can come up with anything and everything in the name of creative liberty. Jab logic ko maar di goli, toh har raat Diwali, har din Holi!! So, I don't think it will be too hard 😆

Don't...don't do that to yourself. Please don't keep your hopes high...we have see how the cvs can mess up anything. Yes, lets keep our fingers crossed and be slightly...very slightly hopeful. Excited...no...never!! 😆

Distance makes the heart grow fond and separation track makes the forum go mad..😆

I agree with you, things did start seeming a bit mundane.. Innocent Paro, protector Rudra playing house as you said.. But that's what happens when a story focuses and depends completely on the love track. The love track culminates in marriage and kahani khatm.. RR had started out very promisingly with many supporting tracks which could have not only supported but spiced up the main one- the terrorism and cross border angle, the other woman, the differences in their beliefs to mention a few.. But most of these fizzled out.. So now they end up resorting to a very FORCED separation track.. There could have been n number of reasons for separation that would not have had half the audience pulling their hair out in frustration, genuine reasons..

Anyway it will bring back the much needed intensity and drama, as you said.. Lets see how they play it out..

🤣 This cracked me up...true, these writers can cook up any contrived storyline to move the characters where they want them to😆

LOL I'm trying real hard to keep my expectations in check...but three epis of continuous storyline build-up made me start to hope...lol I shouldn't forget their track record.

wah wah...waise logic ko goli kabki lagchuki hai... so har raat diwali aur har din holi declare kiya jai baisa... waise I have a niggling feeling that yeah diwali aur yeah holi Laila keleghi...they are going to turn tables now. We will get Larud for a while just to increase intensity, the hatred, the desperation, the angst... what not!

Bang on. Though even mundane and routine things could be shown in a show and executed well but for an intense show like RR, it would be unfair to take the usual route.

On a side thing, life is never easy, as I stated once here I guess, life is just life. It is full of turmoils, ups and downs.

This track is just taking a flavour of the challenges life throws at us. It may be based on a reason as someone's belief.
