yes " main maati ka putla " just took the scene to another level. Anu the " dhim tana " thingy went over my head, bad editing made the shot more wierd, and the way Paro reacted was 😕😕 ..

The sari folding scene, the significcance was bang on, and yes Paro was still not understanding the literal meaning of Rudra's words, but I am glad that she also reacted in the moment. and the fall, thank god, i did not find it cliched.

Woh toh hai😆...And another bit where I felt that Sharmaji was brilliant in conveying nuance vis a vis transition was this bit

I just loved this shot a lot for some reason...the way Rudra's eyes follow her as she abruptly moves away...the way his fingers linger on in the folds of the sari as if still reaching out for Paro and then the way he slowly blinks out of the moment...awesome acting by Ashish...👏...this entire scene had a lot of nuances in it...the symbolism, the look in Rudra's eyes, the chemistry was subtle yet so bang on intense...as Rudra subconsciously/consciously moves closer to her and starts to hold on...both in the scene and in the actual storyline overall.

There is something so ELEMENTAL in Rudra's reactions, his expressions as he watches her...that is what draws us in...and if Paro's reactions also start to move more in sync with that, these scenes could be even more intense...and by reactions, I mean it can be all in the eyes only...there has to be something moving in those eyes when he watches her like that rather than just staring back naively/gullibly as she usually does or the sudden/abrupt drawing back she does.

Patni rights she demanded because of her doubts about Rudra, and we could still buy it considering that she is a human and it was not easy for her to accept that Rudra had a fling with laila without any feelings for laila. JUSTIFIED.
But later she is worshipping him again without getting her answers ? I dont know how it is actually possible ? yes he was not wrong here, but still when she claimed for her rights and mocked his honesty, then now what on earth happened ?
As u said, she is a confused soul, because she wants to keep him happy, but does not realize that she is his happiness, wants him to love her back, but does not read thru his actions and eyes which depict so much of deep love and passion for her.

@bold:- word. yesterday when she drew back from herself from his proximity, i was like 😕😕 .. she was clueless what he was doing or what he was thinking, and ohh Rudra was embarasssed..😆😆
i kind of like how emabarassed he always feels after seeing Paro's naive reactions, because he very well understands at this point that his feelings are still hidden from her. he is more embarassed may be because he is initiating the physical intimacy or the closeness, which makes him wonder that why its him when it should be actually paro and he should pull away from her.

Anu, all that i know is i love Rudra's expressions, and the way he watched her thats it, i can imagine if Paro hugs him, how would he express that feeling. CVs are u listening ?😳

i loved the bits, when his finger/palm brushes off with Paro's, and as she moves away, his hand doesn't feel like letting her hand go, he still wants to be in that moment. ahh beautiful.
Ashish, has taken Rudra to a different level, the evolution of the character has been etched out so well, that I can talk on and on about his every move and in details. the writers were lately playing hide and seek with Rudra's character, but the inconsistency seems ineffective due to the brilliance sharmaji portrays onscreen.
Anu, such bits always makes me wonder, am i watching a lovestory of a couple, or only Rudra's love story ? CVs must work on this part, especially when a huge section of the audience have complained that this whole thing comes off as Rudra's story more. I really wnated to see development of Paro's feelings, sadly which will remain a wish now😭.
i was so excited after Paro learnt tejawat's truth, that yayy now she will fall for him, but what an epic blunder CVs did. so now as mala is coming back, some more blunders from Paro's side is awaiting us, i just hope we are spared from her awful bhashans to major saab that " maa sa is a devi, and accept her forgetting everything ".. CVs, i will kill u for that ..🥱

Missed all the conversation here...had to catch up with the episode a little late. Agree with u all that the highlight of the episode was Ashish/Rudra!! He has fallen big time, and is waiting for the woman in her to emerge...Somehow, Paro ( nothing to do with Sanaya, she is at her best looks wise as well as with acting as much as the characterisation permits her to) still seems disconnected with her feelings as a woman...Isnt it time, that the CVs let her progress a little more in this department? Enough has been discussed about the romance, so not going there. But i wish they would set a better pace for these scenes, the editing really takes the beauty away from some of the key scenes.

I thought i would never say this...but i have been liking the way the Laila character is progressing and i defintiely like the rapport between Sumer (Udit does a very good job being the gullible idiot and the wayward meanie very well, the role is safe in his hands) and Laila. They definitely are eye openers for each other...not exactly birds of the same feather, but somehow seem to perfectly fit each other! Mohini seems to be on the losing side now with both her sons, but i wonder how she is going to bounce back with her evil ways, especially with the sister she hates so much also showing up soon!! She is not one to give up so soon!

But my favourite character these days is: Mailthili bai-sa, this is one character which has not only shown steady growth, but really helps to bring some positivity into the episodes. Sunehri has found her voice these days. Kaliji is very underutilised, but Samrat is in action for the first time, even got to do some lifting. I feel sorry for apna Aman, when Major saab finds out about Laila's escapade.

I have only one request to the CVs, slow down where necessary, let us enjoy the good ones, while reducing the fillers...dont do something just for the sake of role reversal. I dont know if anybody felt this...the sari folding was perfect and the fall also didnt look cliche, but the shower scene didnt appeal to me...Rudra's expressions were the only plus...there was nothing from Paro, how can a girl be so 'feeling less' (i dont know what other word to use) in such a situtation...and it happened a little too rushed to fit in the earring scene, which itself was too fast for such an intense situaltion!!

LOL she is clueless about what these feelings mean, basically...she knows she feels SOMETHING...but she doesn't know/understand how to handle it so she just runs off/backs off like a skittish thing...and yeah she doesn't process Rudra's feelings either...lol...I wouldn't say Rudra is embarassed cuz of that...I think it was more like he realized how much he had drawn closer to her until Paro snapped away abruptly...I think that is why he gets awkward over it...trying to gather his composure😆...I don't think he expects Paro to really initiate anything...bholi gaaon ki chhori that she is😆...but yeah he himself is not really in a fully aware state at this point...he's basically just GIVING IN bit by bit...he hasn't FULLY given in yet and trying to actively pursue her in that sense...these are just little attempts here and there...it's the look in his eyes that reflects the depth of his desire for her...to which Paro is UTTERLY clueless😆...giving bhaashans on love and divinity are easy for her...handling Rudra's desire for her is another thing😆

*Edit: Re: Rudra's expressions if she ever hugs him...lol...well it would depend on the situation...I'm sure he'd do a good job only.

@bold: Very true.

Yes, for the overall development of the show, Paro's feelings need to be developed better or we will always be left feeling like something's missing even though we can gush over Rudra's expressions.

Mala coming back is bringing in tremendous potential for interesting angst from Rudra now...I hope the writers don't fail us on that front...

I totally agree with these two points here...it's really more than about time that Paro's shown more connected with her feelings as a woman...how clueless can they make her? Even yesterday she was oh so naively asking her for her earring back from Rudra, not understanding why Maithili was trying to send them out together and then suddenly laughing when Maithili told her her intentions...I mean shouldn't Paro have some of her own mind to think these things through too?😕

She is not one to give up so soon! Yeah Laila-Sumer are shaping up well and there is definitely potential in that track...with Mala coming back, Mohini will more than have her hands full too...Laila truly is trapping her from all sides...lol...the Sumer issue on one side, Mala on the other...full khichdi...the vamps can keep going at it😆

I couldn't agree more with your points here! That is exactly what I've been saying too...slow down when you show us the good parts, people! After so many filler epis, we got some interesting scenes that could have been lingered over more than rushing through in editing...so much stuffed into yesterday's epi when they could have drawn it out more...I also loved the sari folding scene more and yeah the fall thankfully wasn't that bad...Rudra's laughter was the cherry on the cake...but then the shower scene...as you said, Paro seems almost feeling-less in a scene where Rudra was just brimming over with intensity and desire...especially considering SHE'S the one who claims forever love all the time...there should have been more of a connect in her eyes as she watches him...this scene could have gone to a whole another level...alas.
