Just saw. The episode.. It was quite good .. I was expecting this..
Though rudra was unnecessarily cruel to Laila..a case of pot calling kettle black..
The track of Laila hankering after rudra was not making any headway.. I mentioned yesterday..if rudra is already on his way to relalisation that he wants to be with paro.. He is just over his previous relationships.. Paro has to get the message sooner or later... Because throughout rudra has been quite clear...today in front of KCM and paro...he just rubbed it nicely he is over with Laila..

Now whether he feels anything for paro.. That paro has to realise..
So Laila can now be effective as the spurned woman who wants to avenge from both rudra and paro and just for desserts mohini..
It looks predictable that she will enter the haveli as sumer's bride or intended.. They look good .. But I had a theory she would have been more effective if she had somehow trapped dilsher as a husband..
Dilsher being Rudra's dad.. And owner of the mansion

🤣

OMG THATS THE MOST HILARIOUS THING I HAVE HEARD TODAY!!! Thanks for making my day msin sa!

Z ...Shwets can tell you...I don't do this either...found these on the net...

The thing is, this isn't just a Bollywood thing...it's more like a universal thing (including Hollywood). And it happens in real life too. In Hollywood we are often shown the good, quiet, sometimes nerdy girl who falls in love with the hot jock and often the hot jock has a bitchy cheerleader girlfriend before he falls for the nerdy girl ("A Walk To Remember" anyone?)...what crap. These movies blatantly show that certain types of girls are worth loving (the quiet, innocent types) while another type are just for fun/time pass (usually the loud, partying type). It sends across such a bad message to women...that you need to be a certain way in order to deserve love...uh excuse me...everyone deserves love...no matter how they are...

But the question is...do these movies teach the audience that certain type of women are worth loving while other types aren't...or is this a sad reality and movies are just a reflection of society...hmmm...I think it's the latter. Patriarchy is hugely responsible for the way women are perceived and desired in many societies, and it goes back hundreds or even thousands of years.

I do not agree with what you said about "a walk to remember"
I love this book... I have not seen the movie.. but the book is really good. The girls capacity to love is just something very amazing. Please read the book... it is worth it.

Cocktail movie.. Deepika was the man in the relationship..in my opinion the character of saif was just not man enough for deepika.. So she did not lose by losing such a wimp... He was a freeloader at her house..

But yes true such hypocrisy..exists.. I did my MBA after marriage and living in singapore.. I had an indian boy studying with me..he was dating a cool born and brought up sardarni from singapore for 2 years throughout our course.. After sometime he coolly dumped her and married a simple indian girl..from home..
He blithely told me that she was not the type his family would approve.. I was so put off because his ex girlfriend was just reasonable modern and quite a sweet heart..

Though I want to tell these Indians looking for bride that indian girls are very much changing these days.. It is not so easy finding a virgin and untouched girl good for them..
My cousin teaches in a college in agra...she says students have changed quite a bit these days..
Has anybody seen shudh desi romance that's the new reality in indian hinterland.

@ SUSH ... Have u not seen a few episodes of bold and beautiful... When Brooke is spurned by Ridge .. She traps his dad Eric in marriage thus giving a tight slap to his dominating mother Stephanie...it was quite a hit track and stayed like this for quite some years..

What good can Sumer do by marrying Laila..bur Laila as married to the owner of haveli can big ado mausam of mohini..and be quite like the vamp in saraswati Chandra

@nema123...I have not read the book...have only watched the movie...and in the movie it's very typical that the hot jock falls for the "loser" girl...I'm sure the book is more reasonable...since movies can only show so much...and books are more detailed and emotions are written about and focused on...so we understand the characters better 😊
