Very Good Post. I have been thinking about all this since i saw the latest promo. But i know they will show her reaction next week and keep us haunting over the weekend.

@tm: I second ur opinion..I dn think there's anything to forgive..Rudra didn't mislead paro into thinking he ws flawless or anything less than a beast.. It ws paro who recognized the goodness in him..the impact of the darkness that ws his life before she cm in mit shock her, bt she wont hold it against him..

Paro would find it hard to digest because it is difficult for a girl like her to expect an existance of such type of twisted relationship. The background from where she has come, she cannot imagine a man and woman being physically related yet sharing no commitment s between them. She would need time and would be numb after the revelation for sure.

But lets see how track unfold. I wish to see anything than my fear which I just shared. loving the intensity and complexity of emotions :D

For a while I think, whatever her reaction is would be knee jerk. And i wouldn't count on it.

she would feel sad, she would worry about him being so unfeeling, she might feel sad for Laila too. but she will be baffled cz for her, with her own upbringing a different issue will arise.
She was bottle fed all her life that intimacy exists b/w a man and woman only due to love and/or marriage (which too for her most likely spelled the same thing)
And she is going to be confused as to if Rudra ever loved Laila to have a sexual thing with her.
think about it, isn't she entitled to think so? this is not us who despite our own upbringing and beliefs, know that different situations do exist? For Paro in bhirpur without newspapers, TV or internet and the sheltered life she had she is bound to come to this conclusion.

what she will do with this remains to see. but she might confusedly believe in Rudra that he never loved Laila too.. she is just going to be hurt, sad and utterly confused..

as for a correct reaction, until i stand in Paro's shoes i will never really know..

I guess all I want from Paro is to be human!!

Paro is a girl who has grown up believing in true love and the importance of love and trust in any relationship. Rudra's revelation challenges all the values and ideals that her life is based on, the idea of her husband having physical relationship with a girl for 8 long years should shake a girl like Paro to her roots.

But given Paro's character, she's not just anothet village girl. She is intelligent and perceptive, and after the initial shock, she should recover, in my view. The same beliefs about true love and trust in a relationship would make her stand up tall once again, coz for one Rudra did what he did only before their marriage and two, if he didn't love her, trust her, was not afraid of losing her to demure misunderstandings created by Laila, he wouldn't have confided in her at all.

I guess all I want the is for the CVs to show appropriate responses on Paro's part. This is an important track in their story, coz for the first tym the focus is all on Paro and her reactions and I just want them to handle it with care. I may be expecting too much from them, but plzz don't make Paro do stupid things. She has brains, show her thoughts. Make her show some emotions, make her REACT!! That's all I want.

moreover, he himself realized today that he is answerable to her..before today, he didnt kno it either..so the question of y he didn't tell her before doesnt arise..

bt finally, its upto the cvs whr they wanna take this track..js hope wherever it goes, it leaves laila out of the story
