Now that he has someone in his life who accepts him as he is and also accepts him with all his fault, he is revelling in it. Have you noticed that he is gruff in his manner towards Paro and shows his soft side mostly when Paro is incapacitated - when she is unable to recollect or see.

He is a good person at heart - actually a soldier in his thoughts and action, but nowadays he is trying to adjust towards the myriad of colours in his life which he doesn't know how to handle and is floundering and this is shown well in the scenes depicted.

Ultimately he thinks Paro is too good for his life and there lies his insecurity. All good things in his life goes away. He cannot allow anyone to come closer...but again he cannot resist what is happening to him.

--agree with everything you have written above. I dont think he has changed much. His life pre Paro was full of bitterness. betrayed by the most important person in his life. His father was there but did equal damage as the 'runaway' mom did. He is still an insecure child at heart waiting the world to betray him but at the same time he could not stop from falling for Paro either.

I love the confusion which is happening.

I don't think you and me could decipher what happens in a mind like Rudra unless we have been in a similar situation. I guess the person who created the character is the only person who can do that.

I am meanwhile enjoying the show which is the only Hindi series I watch. I love the whole package. I cannot expect it to move the way I want it to go. But again far far better than the other ones which runs in various channels. (No offence..just my POV)

--same here enjoying the show..well the show minus kcm-laila kitchen politics. (Not a fan of kit- pols)But again its my pov.there are others who enjoy it and im not going to judge them 😊
