why isn't that a shame..Have you seen Maithilli n Samrat's faces when Mohini taunts them about not giving a waaris?...They are always shown upset n embarassed by the remarks...Not being able to bear a child has been always a case of sadness n embarassment for the parents, no matter whether d hubby or the wife has a prob..

At the most it can be that Samrat is impotent..which was a hint when once he asked maithilli whther she will say everything of their secret to Paro...May be laila knows this n since that is something they want to keep hidden from the family she was shocked at Laila's remarks
