Thanks for this post.
That scene was so beautiful and subtle.
Sometimes in the loudness of other scenes, we miss simple yet beautiful scenes like this.
PaRud / SaNish nailed it.

Seriously, the button scene, even though cliched was super duper cute and made unique because of these two adorable creatures. But the breakfast scene was no less. The whole paralyzed arm situation is so metaphorical of his inner turmoil. On one hand, he considers himself paralyzed because his Mother - his right hand that he depended upon left him. However, he fails to realize that he can still go on and live life if he chose to use his left arm - Paro. She forces him to see that all is not lost and that his left arm will support him in one day coming to terms with his right and easing the pain.. possibly even regaining it back!

That's a really sweet way of depicting the subtle yet important 10-15 sec scene, guees PaRud fans don't miss a thing!! And I agree with you 100%, it was a very nice gesture of a wife who notices small things and makes it her duty to make her husband feel comfortable about it without making him feel uncomfortable ya less macho, irrespective of the others glaring. What made Laila so jealous, it was such a cute moment and clearly an impactful one, that she could actually see the Jaanwar in him disappearing away? Loved the BG music that played and of course could notice the respect that he felt clearly towrds Paro, through his expressive eyes!!

I too loved the scene. It was beautiful to see how much they are attuned to each other.
