Finally, watched the episode.
My first paragraph, will belong to Rudra and his uniform. i felt delighted, happy, and more happier than the uniform itself to see him back in the major avatar. LOL you are hilarious, DR🤣...half the epi was devoted to Major saab in that uniform...especially for you it seems😆
coming back to the episode, the standout scene was definitely the Rudra-Laila conversation for me. I felt, laila quite well understands and knows that Rudra will not buy her pretense of this saati savitri devi. But still she will continue it and in the mean time she has mocked him by telling that a lion got reduced to a mere human being, just because of the love he felt for his wife. That could be damaging both for Rudra's ego and his state of belief in himself, but surprisingly it did prick him but did not show up in his actions post the conversation.
I think he did take laila's words by heart, and he is accepting it that he has changed a lot, and he definitely has weakened himself for Paro. Orelse should i believe that in Paro's presence his sanity goes on a vacation and he just forgets everything in her presence.
but i will go with the former option, he believes in his changed state, and he is accepting it, he accepts Paro as his wife, he has given her the right to take over his life, to have a right in his decisions, his past, present and future.
I think i liked the conversation more becaus,e i find laila best when she is with Rudra, giving him a reality check and him absorbing it with a lump in his throat. it was her who at the haldi ceremony had put him in dilemma about being in love with paro and once again, she has showed him the difference between him pre and post his marraige. what a convenient way it was, Laila definitely knows how tto go through Rudra and what affects him. Bingo! I said the same in one of my posts too...Laila is at her best in solo scenes with Rudra otherwise she ends up looking more contrived...but when she talks with Rudra like she knows him, it's believable where she's coming from...and I loved the point you made about Laila being the one to make Rudra realize the MAGNITUDE of his feelings for Paro each time...Last time she made him realize how he had given that HAQ to Paro...now also she's pointing out the changes in him...she may be doing it mockingly but it's forcing Rudra to think and deliberate in a way different from what everyone else's input is on this matter...Dilsher and Aman etc. are shippers so they keep pushing him to accept Paro...but Laila gives him a different perspective that in some ways I feel is also needed for him to battle his demons.
But i did not get that why did laila sing the bhajan ? doesn't she know that her doing all these will make Rudra more suspicious and make him believe that he is exactly right about her. but no, i think she is more in a mission to impress paro baisa than that off Rudra.
I liked how Laila had stopped KCM whi KCM started blabbing nonsense about Rudra's fetish for girls. i think i will give it to laila here, she has been more like a female version of the janwar Rudra. just how Rudra had said that no matter what happens between me and paro, nobody else dare talks crap about paro. similarly tonight laila has warned mohini that she better does not blab crap about "her" Rudra and she better stays aware that Rudra is not a fool to buy their nonsense. that again shows that Laila in her mind believes that Rudra will never buy her act. LOL interesting point about Laila being a female version of Rudra...I guess the possessive qualities are similar in them...but Laila seems more dangerously obsessive in her love than Rudra is...she feels ownership over Rudra but I wouldn't really label Rudra's love for Paro as one of ownership...I did like though that Laila gave more credit to Rudra's intelligence and reminded Mohini that he's not so stupid as not to notice the irregularities in Mohini's behavior with how easily she embraced Laila's arrival...I think that deffo made Rudra more suspicious.
two hoots to Rudra again, that he has told paro that how he is not liking the laila fiasco, and how paro does not care about his opinion. kudos to him, very good that he said that it should not matter to her what is pissing him off as she does not bother. unfortunately, Paro baisa remains unaffected, she is more than happy with Laila doing the bhajan kirtan, laila being all happy and her major saab giving her the upperhand. Paro baisa is having a gaala time, only member of the family who is at present tension free . Ignorance is bliss...this is Paro's motto😆😆...she's happy in her own titli world😆
lastly, the button shot. aww, how cute was that ? and hahaha, Rudradev tried to stitch it on his own first . and while Paro was stitching it, and questioning about his meds, and then arguing with him about the needle pricking him, all he was thinking is that how beautiful and innocent my wife is, and how much more i can love her ? that look in his eyes was a killer. and its cruel, if after so much of submission in her love, he suffers from a betrayal, he has every right to know that these happiness are short lived and he is still not the luckiest one to get what he wants. Aww I liked how you described tihs...especially the last line about Rudra probably lamenting his fate again and thinking he's not fortunate enough to be blessed with getting what he wants with relationships.
PS:- Ananya ji is so natural, and i think mohini will plan an abduction for paro, because she is unaware of paro's pact with god, and she has given 2 weeks to sumer, she is very well aware of the tandav Rudra does at Paro being in danger, and i do feel mohini is planning an abduction for paro, and laila will help her. Hmm but what will Mohini get out of abducting Paro? Rudra will obviously find her and bring her back...so how will this help Mohini and Laila in anyway?😕
