Very well written! I love the way you pointed out the differences in Laila and why it had come to this. Definitely Rudra owes a decent closure to Laila. But that will be just that - a closure. Because she does not belong in his future.

I totally agree with the analysis of women in Laila's profession being victims of patriarchy and deserving empathy.
But...
TV serials have a logic of their own and being a long-time viewer I am getting a hunch about Laila...
...
I think she's a spy!
...
Rudra has been worried about the leaks from his department. What if Laila is behind those?
...
Please note, this has nothing to do with any moral judgement about Laila's profession or character.
...
Just an instinct honed by years of watching TV.
...
Of course, there's a 50% chance that I'm guessing wrong.

Beautiful analysis👏
For me the most significant difference between Laila and Paro is that Paro wants to heal Rudra and help him out of his misery but Laila wants him to remain bitter and miserable because she likes him that way. I really admire Paro's love for Rudra.

Initially they had thought of making rudra dark and that time laila was feasible...as a bad girl in the heroes life... Now rudra is fast on his way to beat Suraj in becoming JKG of the year...
Man this guy is so good ... He took his wife on a honeymoon... He only sleeps wherever she sleeps... Tells her he will back soon whenever he goes anywhere...I live Rudy as a hubby... He is truly proving.. Reformed rakes make the best husbands...
So Laila as mrs Sumer ranavat should be best to spoil mohinis mausam.. And Sumer looks to be the type in control of his wife..
Actually all the ranavat men are ninnies in front of their wives..

Yeah it all depends on TRPs...which is why I really hope the TRP audience doesn't like the Laila track to be honest 😭 If they do, Laila will be seen plotting and planning against Parud for months...I have no patience to watch all of that. I'd rather see Laila get a redemption track...

Haha yeah Rudra is actually a great husband 😆 Hmm yeah the most logical way for Laila to stay in the haveli on a long-term basis would be through Sumer...but I really don't like her with him 😛

🤣haha yeah so far all the Ranawat husbands are juroo ke ghulams (except maybe for Samrat, but he's a wuss in general anyway so whatever) 🤣

Thank you!! 😊 Yes exactly...and the sooner she realizes that, the better!

Yes TV serials definitely have a logic of their own, which is no logic 😆 Hmm yes Laila has already been said to have been Rudra's informant, she could definitely be a double agent/spy!

I hope SHE is a mole, that way Rudra has even more reason to hate her 😛

Thank you!! 😊 Yes, Laila and Paro are similar in many ways, but they are also worlds apart! And that is why Rudra loves one and not the other! Laila is selfish and Paro is selfless (ultimately, at least) 😆

I agree completely that Laila is not in love with, but infatuated with the idea of Rudra. Your points of contrast between Paro and Laila were accurate. 100% completely.

But I disagree with this notion:

" I feel that Laila is RESPONSIBLE for the way she is looked at"

I'm an infrequent viewer of RR due to time commitments, but from what I've seen, don't think this is true.

Was it revealed that Laila is a prostitute? And since when has dancing been downgraded to the work done by women with no self respect? I genuinely don't think it's Laila or her actions that are "impure", but the vision through which she is viewed is distorted. Now her actions may be in accordance with the stereotypes associated with "cheap" women, but in my opinion this is not her fault --- it's purely the viewer's own.

And maybe I am too deeply enamored with my feminist approach to life, but I strictly believe that a woman deserves due respect, no matter what she wears, who she sleeps with or how she carries herself. No woman, not even one who walks around naked, deserves to be treated like a piece of meat... regardless of what she does with her body.

So with all due respect, I do disagree with a few points of your post, though your post was an interesting read.
