Agree Diya..that was stupid marketing in my opinion. The promo should have been a suspense one without revealing who the lady was. The episode would have worked so much better in that case.

Through out that whole slow, emotional walk of Rudra, even though I know he was thinking of his mother, I couldn't feel that impact as I already knew it was going to be Laila. It all fell flat because we knew. What is the use of calling it a surprise when you already know what the surprise is?

Could not agree with you more!! The marking department and the people in charge of promoting this show sucks big time!! May be they need to go back to school and get a refresher course on basic marketing strategies 😡

Since we already knew who she was felt it was a annoying scene. If they want create such build up then why show her face in pre-cap? It's only suspense for Rudra not for us.

Agree Dia, someone needs to get their act together whether it's the PH or the channel. We either don't get promos or we get promos that are hastily put together and shown a week too late or we get promos that give away the entire suspense! The fantastic writing of the episode was totally wasted by yesterday's precap and all the Laila off screen segments. Why on earth didn't they concentrate on the mother angle and leave Laila as a shock factor. The cv's built up the necessary punch but someone who seems to watch the show in FF seemed to have the decision making control over promos. We should have been on the edge of our seats from the moment the phone rang but it was a total waste and actually irritating to watch.
