Hi RRians, I would like to know which according to you is a safe website for watching RR? Of course there is the official colors website but the upload is a day later if I am not mistaken.
I feel the desi**fo*** and desi-tashan websites have a lot of malware. Would really appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Colors website is a good option.
I watch on DesiTV forum on ipad and not on PC, so the malware and popups are automatically blocked.

Most websites that are trying to get you to copyright content without direct approval from any publisher will most likely have some form of malware on their site, direct or indirect through ads.
.
Since I don't know of any other sites, let's cover the basics.
.
-What web browser do you use?
-Do you use tracking protection and personalized blocking in Internet Explorer OR AdBlock Plus add-on in Firefox or Chrome?
-Do you use any other extensions like NoScript, Ghostery, WOT?

-I use google chrome mostly or Internet explorer.
-I have Mc Cafee Antivirus installed and also have turned on the pop-up blocker in IE but then, it does not allow me ( in the websites other than colors channel) to open the episode unless I disable the pop-up blocker. Is tthis the same as the tracking and personalized blocking in IE that you mentioned?
- I don't understand about the extensions that you have mentioned. Please explain.

Yes, I realized that was a good option. Unfortunately , the headphone plugin in my IPad is damaged . And I mostly watch the serial at night in my bed , so can't use my IPad without my hubby or kids getting disturbed. 😉
Thanks anyways.

If you're using Chrome, you can download ad blocking software to avoid popups and the like. I use desi tv forum, since not all the Youtube videos are available here in the UK..

Well, I had this nice little how to typed up and India Forums ate it. Generally as long as you block the advertisements, you should be fine, but the browser will pick up the slack and stop you from going to that site if it knows anything else. Chrome is good in this area.

For IE, I cant explain why it is blocking the episode as the blocker is usually weaker than its counterparts. What version IE are you running?

For IE:
inside of manage addons
-EasyList Standard (equivalent of ABP) and EasyPrivacy (trackling protection) from the internet to subscribe to
-also enabling the automatically block for Personalized List (tracking protection)
-McAfee SiteAdvisor (makes you aware of site condition, not sure if subscription needed)

these should take care of most of your concerns but you should still use caution on IE.

For Chrome:
-Ghostery (blocks tracking, not malware advertisements)
-WOT (makes you aware of site condition)
-AdBlock Plus (blocks most but not all advertisements, including those that can be problem)

These three extensions will go a long way in controlling/assisting in informing you on what gets to your computer.

My version is IE 10.
Enabled the Personalized List now.
Will do as suggested for chrome as well.
Thanks a ton!🤗
