Can someone explain? Is there any symbolism to it? I was DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Why wouldn't she let Rudra kiss her?

It didn't make sense... Paro is an innocent... so how would she know to block his impending kiss with her palm? Paro seems as excited and she has declared her love for him. So wouldn't she willingly jump into the kiss...

Look, Paro is boldly going where no woman (other than Laila) has gone before. Explorer type hai hamara Paro. Like her, none of us have any idea how the mooch will feel--ticklish hoga? tooth brush ki bristle jaise? Gudgudi hogi? Bara Madamji ka diya hua lipstick ka shatyanash hogi? Lipgloss jayega kaha, Rudra ki lips pe yah mooch pe?

Till now, she has been the one to declare love, propose etc, then why let him do the honors now? She wants to be the first, alag and unique heroine who initiated the kiss, the suhaag raat etc etc..😉
