What a wonderful post...! Loved reading it very poetic..

Loved the epi to the core... I had happy tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat... and the elated feeling is still there... after so many hours...

Loved your lines below.

Acting-wise, last night belonged to Sanaya, and she was absolutely compelling in her pain, her disappointment, her heart-break, her fight, her conviction, her hesitation, her joy, her hope and her stifling of it. A

In all, last night's was a darker, more fraught episode, yet much more satisfying than the previous two for its depth. It leaves us with much to mull over this weekend, and much to look forward to on Monday.

Thank you, Nema. 😃 Delighted that my post appealed to you. It really was a lovely episode, with so many moments to cherish and to chew over. And such consummate acting from all quarters, but especially from Sanaya, who gave us both a powerful and a nuanced rendition of her role. Lovely way to wave goodbye to the social workers.

Sabs!!!! Welcome back!!!! Lovely lovely analysis!! Missed you so much!! But I understand! Love ya!! 🤗

To tell you the truth, Friday's episode was like a cherry on the top of a sweet cake!! It was more of a realization of Paro's character on my part and god knows how much I needed it!! I had been so disappointed in Paro's character being sketched the way it was that this episode was a pleasant jolt for me! Now at least I hope I will have lesser complaints against Paro's characterization!!

Having said that, Paro's naked, simple truth regrading her own feelings about Rudra were shining through out the episode, dazzling everybody!! Her way of explaining things in simple and yet clear way left no doubts in anybody's mind!! As I said before in one of my posts in one of your threads, Paro is too simple and hence is more unbelievable and so is more difficult to read! But today her same simplicity, clear and logical mind won over the Social Workers!! Maithili was awestruck at the way Paro defended Rudra! She must have felt proud of her! Rudra himself was spellbound, opening his eyes and heart to Paro for the first time. He must have felt as if he is meeting Paro for the first time in his life life and is left wonder struck at his luck for having Paro in his life! Completely disbelieving his own luck!! You have rightly pointed out, the awkwardness between Rudra and Paro after everybody left is something both are still grappling with!! It was lovely to watch that scene!! They don't know what to do next!!! Feelings are now out in the open!! But I am sure even if they have plenty to say to each other, they won't! Simply because now they will understand each other far better and won't need lots of words to say to each other!! Their wordless communication will convey their feelings!! Their love story has truly begun!!! I think, when he realizes Paro has been hurt because of Kakisa, he is bound to take her to Jaipur away from the horror haveli!! Excited for this week now!! Lots is in store for us!

Sanaya nailed it!! Ashish was awesome as usual!! These days I am running short of adjectives to describe their performances!!

Hi mozart... lovely to see your post on this thread... I was missing our interactions to Sabs post and this thread here 😊

@ underlined #1...so agree with you... I am so different from Paro that I cant understand her either... but, I also feel Im getting there, maybe not agree with her, but understand and respect her pov now... I mean, how lucky is Rudra to get someone who loves him in the true sense of the word..😭

@ underlined #2: The brilliance of the main leads really came out today in that scene post the confrontation... they excel in scenes with no dialogues, thats what makes them extraordinary as actors...

As usual, great analysis and some really sharp observations:
@ Rudra losing his temper in front of the SWs: Gosh! That gave me a bit of a shock - I was actually yelling for him to watch out for the SWs!! But no, our Rudradev just went for the jugular and no thoughts to the consequences - when will he learn!!
@ Rudra confused by Paro's defence: It seemed to me that not only was he surprised that she'd stand up for him after he'd been so nasty to her, but that he actually doubted whether she'd ever come through for him when push came to shove. And of course there were the implications to consider - this meant that she actually really wanted him to get his job back, which therefore meant that she'd never wanted him to lose his job in the first place - therefore that he couldn't blame her for putting his job on the line, therefore the basis of his hate marriage and his hate-filled vows was wrong. Massive recalibration there - and shell-shock justified. 😃
@ Anger causing relationships to break: I took that as a forewarning of things to come - I expect the day is not far when Rudra will say something totally unforgiveable to Paro in his anger and that will be the day he will fall off his pedestal with a crash and become human to Paro.
@ The Jaipur heartbreak: Diya, totally with you in this one. The heartbreak was as much mine as Paro's. It was such a small joy too. I do hope Rudra gives it to her. She deserves so much more for saving him his job.

Sabs ... good to hear things are better 😃

I agree with SJ and Monica ... your post makes the episode seem even better ... beautiful takes and I love reading your discussions with everyone here.

Rudra confused by Paro's defence ... his re-calibration of events ... that she never wanted him to lose his job, that she was truly, deeply sorry about that ... AND that she went out of her way to try to repair her mistake ... and did so. Everyone makes mistakes ... but not everyone admits to them, and even fewer try their best to repair the damage. So yes, his hate and the way he tried to repair the damage to his job was completely wrong ... he did marry her, but the way he did so, seems so unjustified now.

Anger causing relationships to break ... this is personal ... a couple I know closely actually separated because of the husband's anger management issues ... after a while, his wife could not take the constant fits of rage, and his regularly blaming her for everything that ever went wrong in his life. And he is a very decent guy otherwise. Anger can truly destroy relationships, Damyanti was bang on the ball there. I actually want this to happen ... Rudra to drive Paro away because of his anger ... and the realisation to dawn that maybe his mother was not completely to blame for running away ... his father's temperament also contributed. Dilsher did admit to Paro that they could not manage their relationship ... which means he also accepts that he was equally at fault. The child that Rudra was at the time, he probably could not understand both sides of the picture.

Jaipur trip ... I am hoping that Rudra realises the danger Mohini still poses to Paro, and takes Paro to Jaipur ... they can re-start the Thakur track there, or else start a Nandini track. But before that, a nice party scene will lighten up the show. And Paro deserves some thanks from Rudra for saving his job ... hopefully when Col Singh repeats it again to Paro, Rudra might appreciate her more.

Chamkeeli, missed you too sweetheart!! We do have some great discussions in Sabs' thread!! Love ya too!!🤗

Yes, @bold, we are different than Paro. We don't understand her because we are urban, educated females with completely different upbringing and mindsets. It is difficult for us to relate to Paro but at the same time we can connect to Paro for her pain, her suffering, her emotions as any girl would do and therefore empathize with her!! That is the beauty of her character that I have newly discovered!! Slow that I am... duh...!!

A couple of more observations -
In Thursday's episode many must have felt that Rudra discovered her pain while putting the bangles on her and yet yelled at her and disregarded her tears. I truly felt Rudra realized that Paro was faking her smile and that the way she was holding her hand out to Rudra for bangles, or her reluctance at pushing her sleeve up or removing rudraksha herself was NOT missed by Rudra. He knew it. His expression said it all. Ashish was outstanding in that scene. The reason he behaved the way he did also was well within his character as he was keeping the charade and going through it as much painfully as Paro. He was a bit pissed off when Paro tried to remove the bangles! He wasn't able to explain his own feelings to himself! Why was he reluctant to put the bangles in the first place and why was he pissed off when she tried to remove it when he clearly said to her that he doesn't like her being around!! His own conflict came out beautifully in that scene. Paro is right you know! He says one thing when his eyes say something else altogether!! Perceptive Paro! If you notice carefully you will realize that while putting the bangles on Paro Rudra's thumb had for most part gently covered her scald!! She didn't even hiss because she knew Rudra had realized the wound and was very gentle and careful!! Me thinks so!

This week these things will be hopefully more clear! If Rudra takes Paro to Jaipur it will be because he wouldn't want Kakisa to harm her. He is going to confront Kakisa on this wound! He knows!! Paro was excited and yet apprehensive about her visit to Jaipur with Rudra. But she simply said she wouldn't come and Rudra also nodded yes in the precap was because I think he didn't want to make a public debacle of Paro and wanted to avoid her discomfort at having to face an elite crowd without any knowledge of how to and she didn't want to damage his image any further!! I am being optimistic here! Many would think that Rudra doesn't want to take Paro for she would disgrace him. But I think not!!
