It was a roller coaster of an episode ... Rudra losing his temper over Paro taking the bangles off, forgetting all about his job, his role play in front of the SWs ... I was confused first as to why he lost his cool ... I thought the end of the scene on Thursday showed that he understood something was wrong ... but apparently not 😕 It was just his anger at Paro's playacting ... and then her taking off the bangles.

Loved Paro yesterday as she explained to the SWs in clear terms about their marriage ... she never told a direct lie, she only spoke the truth, but in such a way that it saved the day for Rudra.
I did not understand why Rudra looked so confused when Paro was talking ... she didn't say anything he didn't know already ... unless he was flabbergasted at her calm way of defending him, after he had just been so cruel and nasty to her, and she had been upset just a few minutes earlier.

Liked the lady playing Damyanti ... she was good ... her no-nonsense calm way of listening to Paro, and of course shutting up Mohini with a warning. I also loved the little admonition she gave Rudra about how his anger can cause relationships to splinter and break, and how hurtful words, once spoken in anger, can never be taken back. Those words should have struck home ... because he had just hurt Paro sharply with his words a few minutes before.

The last scene was for me, the best ... my heart broke for Paro, as she tried her best first not to raise her hopes about the Jaipur trip ... and then to hide her disappointment when Rudra said he would not take her. Both actors were superb there.

Diya!! 🤗Thanks!! Things are better and, finger crossed, will continue to improve.
As usual, great analysis and some really sharp observations:
@ Rudra losing his temper in front of the SWs: Gosh! That gave me a bit of a shock - I was actually yelling for him to watch out for the SWs!! But no, our Rudradev just went for the jugular and no thoughts to the consequences - when will he learn!!
@ Rudra confused by Paro's defence: It seemed to me that not only was he surprised that she'd stand up for him after he'd been so nasty to her, but that he actually doubted whether she'd ever come through for him when push came to shove. And of course there were the implications to consider - this meant that she actually really wanted him to get his job back, which therefore meant that she'd never wanted him to lose his job in the first place - therefore that he couldn't blame her for putting his job on the line, therefore the basis of his hate marriage and his hate-filled vows was wrong. Massive recalibration there - and shell-shock justified. 😃
@ Anger causing relationships to break: I took that as a forewarning of things to come - I expect the day is not far when Rudra will say something totally unforgiveable to Paro in his anger and that will be the day he will fall off his pedestal with a crash and become human to Paro.
@ The Jaipur heartbreak: Diya, totally with you in this one. The heartbreak was as much mine as Paro's. It was such a small joy too. I do hope Rudra gives it to her. She deserves so much more for saving him his job.

And invariably you pick my favourite parts in the post. Talking of favourite RR posts, you remind me that it's time to update my RReview Index and put it out for people who've missed some of my previous efforts. I should add that with a little sweetening I can be tempted to pull out the ones I think they might like. 😉😃
I am just so delighted that you enjoyed my writing. Thank you for your generous appreciation - you my dear are a kind soul, and it will be a while before I come down to earth. 😃 But I'm loving my bed in the clouds because it's been a rough week. So thank you and for your kind wishes. ❤️

its so much more than just a review. in fact, it connects the frayed edges, repairs the gaps and edifies the overall landscape of the story far beyond the original conceptualization. I think reading your uptakes every day makes one fall in love with the show more than the combined efforts of the CVs and actors - this i am not kidding.

giving expression to unspoken words in the scenes, and making the scenes even better than they actually were - a feat you accomplish. hats off.

SJ!! 🤗 What can I say!! You are too kind. And I'm quite overcome that my attempts at making sense of RR should win such unstinted praise from a writer and analyst of your calibre. You must know that seeing your name on the 'like' list is quite enough to make my day. So I will treasure your words, and if I read them often enough I might, just might let myself believe them. Thank you! And I see that I've had my treat for your new status in IF. 😃

And so we saw PaRud emerge from their fight wiser, more receptive to the other, and definitely a little more in love. Rudra was willing to listen to Paro - believe in her version of the choodi rasam - and Paro was willing to give Rudra space and let him go to Jaipur on his own. Although, I can't see the CVs letting Paro miss out on such a wonderful opportunity for romance.

Hi Tvbug- You have an awesome way of explaining things.👏

I am looking forward to the highlighted part in the coming week. Paro Bai Sa explained everything in detail about Major's character to the SW and how much he meant to him. 😊And Major's eyes were right on her when she was relating this to the SW. He felt happy about the SW leaving and will also get his job back. 👏 This should be a big relief to him and I hope things take a turn for the good from here. Also, the fact that they will be going to Jaipur will help them spend more time with each other. I hope this changes the equation on the emotional part at least. I am not sure what is going to happen on the physical front, but I know Maithili will not be there to help Paro Bai Sa, 😛 So, most probably Major will be tying and untying doris.😉

Also, they will be away from KCM and kitchen politics which should give them breathing space and actually get a chance to look at each other as hubby and wifey.😛
Hoping for a good week ahead.😊

However I managed to watch it on Friday .. and at the end of the episode I had a smile on my face! i liked the positivity and most importantly I got to make sense of it by watching it..

When Paro answered Rdura with silence (saying that he won't understand) and left their room.. I could understand her action.. she was hurt and i could see that. then the questioning by the SWs.. Paro had to say all these, she had to save Rudra's job because she knows how important that is for Rudra. Although her statements had truth from her side and she had no hesitation to admit what she feels about her relationship with Rudra and how she finds Rudra as a husband but she was not sure about Rudra.. and her fear was visible when the SWs asked Rudra whether he wanted to marry Paro.

Rudra's answer was a relief for Paro and the relief overshadowed the spontaneity of and realization in Rudra's answer.. The answer 'yes' came automatically from Rudra.. and unlike other occasions he didn't obstruct it from coming..

For both Paro and Rudra it was a right move for saving his job.. unbeknownst to both of them that it was THE truth.

Drama is over. And the realization phase begins.. Looking forward to upcoming episodes!

Golpokobita 👏👏 I'm loving your clarity!!
@ Paro was not sure about Rudra's answer: Yes and she feared both for him (for his job and his life) and for herself (for her love and her life) that he might just throw caution to the winds and say 'no'. And then where would that leave them?!! I loved how the CVs built the suspense at that point, so that I was at the edge of my seat and hoping that Rudra wouldn't do anything foolish!! 😃
@ Rudra didn't stop the answer: True! But he couldn't have stoppered it if he tried. That answer was torn from him. It couldn't be held back. Not only because he wanted to say it, not only because he knew it was the truth, but also because he could not give any other answer and save his job. So in giving in to the demands of the situation, he was finally allowing the truth and his heart to speak. And once it was out in the open, revelling in the wonder of that honest acknowledgement. A realization, which will change things for both Rudra and Paro.

the episode did take a big turn and at the right moment because many people were waiting to see this side of Paro... her honesty and simple explanation (so simple that many have miss it) make her character all the more believable and she proves once again that simple innocent women without too much wordly knowledge who are undervalued just because of lack of education or so called intelligence have a lot more in them... WISDOM, to utilze whatever little they have learnt, the right way.
I loved what you wrote about Paro and Rudra's feelings after things were aired and cleared up, that was truly awesome 👏

Thank you Chitmanas for your kind words. 😃 Delighted that my writing appealed to you.
@ Bold: Well said!! 👏 Paro's EQ and wisdom are really praiseworthy and at this point far beyond Rudra's. And her courage and determination to take the right road, never mind the thorns, totally laudable. Much to love about Paro.
