Have mixed feeling about the Jaipur track. Hope it is just a track, and the creatives are not planning to move to 'urbanize' the story. As much as we love to hate MKC, the family interactions adds flavor to the show. They can tone down the saas-bahu element, and concentrate on the interactions between the characters. Don't want to watch a 'makeover' of Paro a la Khushi.

Another reason... cringing at the stereotypical image of army life they would end up portraying. 😕

I am really interested now in increasing my Hindi movie knowledge after having realized how clueless I have become...😆 Although tried watching Ramleela...and left it after 1/2 hour... Bought a few CDs of new Hindi songs too...😊

I also watch only 1 Hindi serial at a time...just saw the TRP chart...turned me off...Even the serial I left watching TP is climbing up and 4+ on a channel like lifeOK...while RR is stuck at 3 😕

Is it really a dark story Shwets as it is claimed? Am I in for some real disappointment???

Sush , jub tak show air ho raha hai enjoy kar don't worry about the TRP's . One thing for sure PH has signed a contract with colors for a year so sit back and enjoy the ride till Dec. To tell you the truth , I don't see love stories going beyond a year max year and half anyways...my two cents.

I used to watch a show sometime back, R.com, it was a fairly decent and a well made show set in an urban setting. From what I read online, it had absymal ratings and even though they had initially promised to come back with a season 2, they never did. If I remember correctly it was a weekly series, and lasted for about six months...or more. I can't remember the exact details...in terms of setting and the characterizations of the main leads, RR is completely the opposite to what it was...a complete contrast...it seems you just can't predict what works with the TRP audience. I can't imagine being a writer writing for these shows... You start off with all kinds of ideas and creativity...and then the TRP curse strikes and you are forced to dumb it down to a pumpkin roll, it must all be terribly frustrating, no doubt.
