There is no other reason for which Rudra will marry Paro. So the CVs have to use the job or rather suspension as the reason. Everybody together made a joke out of Rudra , his feelings, his job and his decisions - this includes Paro herself.

If he was in investment banking or an IT company I would have wished that he resigned and left lock , stock and barrel to some other state - preferably country. With him working in BSD I cannot expect him to go and join the Chinese army - can I ? I feel so strongly for Rudra.

Shreya,

Remember. I am keeping my word 😉

What I saw yesterday was Tenderness Linked Care. I could not see any love there. I cannot see love (as in the love between lovers or partners) from either Paro or Rudra.

Paro is worshipping him - so God like love. Am talking about staunch believers here. Whatever God does - one has blind faith in him. Even when things do not go the way you pray for - you still worship and love God. One maybe upset but will come up with all the logic in the world to think that God knows the best and whatever he does, he does it for one's happiness in the long run. You assume he is the protector. He is the well wisher. And he is everything to you.

And Rudra has concern and care for her. Baby like love. The way one loves a baby. The way one jumps in whenever the baby is in physical pain. One has no clue about the baby's mental pain or agony. So one reacts only to the physical dangers to the baby. When the baby throws tantrums you punish it. If it acting cute you stare at it with wonder eyes. You assume all the responsibility and the rights.

I do not think Rudra's problems are only trust issues or abandonment issues. He is logical and he needs to feel the Ishqwaala love - right ? He needs time. And definitely now is not the time for them to get married - irrespective of what Paro thinks or others in the family think. If only he was given some time and that too when he his job is not in line ...

JJKKL, love ya buddy!! 🤗 Well said!!

I agree with you!! Especially the bold and underlined points! Everybody is making a fool out of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat, including Paro. So so true! None of them and I mean none of them have understood Rudra at all!! He needs time to grapple with the situations in his life when he can be ruthlessly efficient on a battlefield! He did say to his Kakasa in an earlier episode that feelings don't change overnight. Such things take time. His logical mind needs time to analyze his feelings towards Paro and that's precisely what he isn't getting at all! Time! In yesterday's episode Rudra's logical mind had listened to the plausible explanation from Maithili over one of his accusations that Paro was responsible for Dilsher's condition for the first time and will accept it in the due course because of the proof that Maithili has with her.

I had said sometime before in one of my posts that it will be Rudra first who will feel the REAL love for Paro and not her!! Paro is still worshiping him like God and she has no inkling whatsoever of what ishqwala love is all about!! You are so right about mentioning that it is Tenderness Linked Care and not Tender Love and Care!! He did say that much to Maithili too that he would have cared for anybody in Paro's place! However Maithili was simply trying to show him the mirror about his own feelings which he is not ready to face let alone acknowledge! What is so clear to Dilsher and Maithili is not so clear to Rudra!! He is going to need time! That is a different proposition! Rudra's slow progress towards his realization of love for Paro is being shown beautifully by the CVs!! This is also in sync with Rudra's character and his own thinking about feelings needing time to develop! Paro is certainly not in LOVE! It is the extreme godly worship for Rudra! She is yet to feel the real LOVE!! She has a long way to go before she feels any of it and Rudra would have fully realized it by then!!

Thank you, Bluemoon. 😊
Yes Rudra has all our sympathies right now. Hope he starts seeing the positive aspects of the marriage real soon.

Awesome post and analysis as always, Sabs!

Just want to add ...

The actress playing Maithili was awesome today ... her voice modulation and inflections were spot on as she questioned Rudra ... sweetly, politely but taunts nevertheless, delivered in the softest of voices. She is taking her role as elder sister very seriously ... am loving it. Loved the way she questioned Rudra persistently ... why are you bothered? You keep saying you don't care about her, why did you bother to bring her in? Why not just leave her outside? It's her madness, isn't it, what's it to you?
Alas, Rudra is not ready to face those questions ... let alone answer them. Yet he can't be rude to Maithili, because he has started respecting her ... so he just tells her he'll handle it, thank you for your help.
And loved the way Maithili backed off the moment he said that ... nervous she had said too much ... typical of women in this situation.

Secondly, I loved Paro's nervousness today ... why is she here, who changed her clothes ... the first sign of insecurity showing as she questioned both Maithili and showed her doubts to Dilsher in her eyes. Ever since Paro accepted Bholenath has sent Rudra for her, she had no doubts about his place in her life, and her place in his ... it was worship, a divine message for her.

But today she questioned it, showed her doubts ... the divinity has to be tempered and fade, to bring in the more earthly, worldly love ... for Paro to have doubts in the face of Rudra's constant refusal is natural, much more natural than her fixed certainty about their being meant to be.

And I loved the way Paro repeated her question again when Rudra tried to run away ... Major saab, I asked you something ... in a firm, confident tone.
No, Paro is no pushover, and never will be ... she is not scared of Rudra in the least.

Which is what will make this hate marriage interesting to watch ... ⭐️

As also the fact that the entire household will know the entire scenario completely, will know what goads Rudra into marriage finally, ... and with two exceptions, are all on Paro's side. 😆 And those two are on their own side, not Rudra's! No secrets or silly MU's here ... everything is out in the open. That itself makes it interesting to watch and pretty unique!

Thank you Diya. 😊 And for your insightful comment. Where have you been, though? Missing your daily takes.
@ Mythili taking her role as elder sister seriously: Absolutely! Love that she's taking on herself the responsibility of questioning Rudra's intentions, trying to spur his admission of love for Paro. Love how she told Paro to ask Rudra why he stayed up all night to take care of her.
@ Paro's first step away from divine certainty: 👏 Brilliant observation! Finally, she's realising the human dimensions of love and some of the implications of a relationship with Rudra the man and not Rudra-Dev. That was an absolutely delicious scene.
@ Paro not a pushover: Agreed. And that's the one quality that'll stand her in good stead in the coming days of the hate marriage when Rudra turns unreasonable, which I suspect is a given. 😊

hey, sabs ! see I am early today😃. episodes are becoming baffling, each passing day. rudra is trapped in his own woven web of distrust and hatred towards beautiful women, so much so while facing a sudden shoot of arrows from maithili's side and his own bapusa's unwavering faith upon that girl, he is forced to say aloud to himself that she is nothing to him, whatever he is doing is for the sake of humanity ! Oh Major sa !

'' Jhoot naa tu yu bol naa dil se " !!
perhaps even bholenath smiled at his mulish obstinacy to shut eyes at obvious and understood in dorder to heal him, he has to be injected with medicines forcefully ! hence other incidents take place and we r about to witness another type of forced/ hatred marriage track, perhaps first time in telly history a man has been forced to marry his about to be ladylove and that too to save his too precious job !
I think, General singh should run an ''OM PRAJAPATAYE NAMAH'' marriage agency, assisted by Aman, as a side business and cite their first client's marriage as their trophy of success 😉

Helloo Shreya!! Today you're early and I'm late!!! All I can say is that it was one of those days here, 😃
@ Denying that he feels anything for Paro: That was such a delish scene!! There she was fast asleep and the Major ranting he feels nothing for her over and over. 😆
@ Forcing marriage on the hero: Yup new take on the old theme. It'll be interesting to see how far the CVs take the role reversal. Or if they'll drop it immediately after the wedding and Rudra'll go on a rampage or, more likely, completely reject Paro and freeze her off.
@ General Singh's marriage bureau: Excellent suggestion!! And after Rudra, he could focus on Aman. 😃
