Hi guys! How is everyone doing today? Ready for the weekend? Well I am home early because I have a book club meeting tonight ...so making the post early...

Today's first post is on Paro...

Her Tapasya has started...she knew it wasn't going to be easy...and it isn't...despite her catching a break with Mausam sa...who put Rudra bana in place right in the beginning...very deftly reminding him of the natak he willingly played...pretending Paro was his fiancee and went along for many days...doing haldi, mehandi, Jhanki and what not...leading people to believe that they were a couple in love engaged to be married...Mausam is not going to let him off the hook...she burns in the social image angle if Paro is thrown out..."log Kya kahenge"..,,, see thats the thing with logic...there is nothing wrong with any logic as such...it is all about where ...which logic is used...and mausam sa is a master manipulator...who knows what logic can win where...All in all, it helped Paro ...and she was happy...

She also caught a lucky break with Maithli...who is as interested in saving her as Paro was in saving Maithli...together they almost solve the arson mystery ...Joined by the third in their gang Suneheri!

But that's where her stroke of luck ended...The major is too damaged to see anything pure even when it is in front of his eyes...His view of the world is through dark shades where even a fair maiden appears tainted...But wait I am jumping ahead of myself...I will talk about the major in the second post...

Coming back to Paro...she apologizes for making him angry, and apologizes again for not trusting him...BUT she refuses to apologize for what she does not consider wrong...and that is coming back to be with him...

He is angry, of course...tells her that he finds her disgusting and suffocating she can not show her face to him...She accepts his condition...and tries...

To avoid showing her face when she opens the door
To avoid turning to him when he is the kitchen...
And tries to walk with a veil that she bangs into him...

All this has a reverse effect on him...He takes it to mean she is seducing him...He wants to get rid of her...and offers that he will forgive her...if she only leaves ...and she refuses...because...she is convinced that she belongs with him...Is she being selfish? Is she being pushy? Is she being as aggressive as a prostitute?

The answers to all these questions...depend upon the way you look at her...If you start with the point that she is being selfish or one without self respect ...everything seems wrong...if you start with the point that she is pure and is the best thing that ever happened to the Major...and even if he is too jaded to let her in, ...she needs to be firm and make it happen...then it all makes sense...

I think the story is strong...it's adaptation in modern era posts challenges because ...we value each persons freedom to make their own choice...Is Paros choice encroaching on his choice? Seemingly so...but in the context of this story...such differences are superficial...because the writers have made it clear what is his real choice...what does his heart want...in those moments before the award ceremony...and during when ...his seeming choice was being granted to him...yet he felt like he had lost his entire world..because one Paro Bai sa had left him alone...and went away...so he feared...

I am going to post a song for the major...who wants to sit out and is afraid to "dance"... The way I look at it...Paro is the girl who will teach him how to not be afraid and dance...please listen to the song...it is a beautiful song by a mother to her child...teaching him/her to not be afraid to take chances and to not be afraid to love...something that Rudy missed...

"I Hope You Dance"

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance...I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin',
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin',
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance...I hope you dance.
I hope you dance...I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

Dance...I hope you dance.
I hope you dance...I hope you dance.
I hope you dance...I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)

About the major...
Today major reactions and actions are easy to understand...

He fears what he can not understand
He fears what he has had a bad association with...
He is suspecious of women's motivation...
He assumes they are motivated by self serving reasons...
He categorizes women as virtuous and ones without virtue...and unfortunately Paro seems to be crossing to the wrong side...because she wants to be with him...

He can not understand Paros feelings for him...he is completely at loss...so he doubts them...He sees them in the worst possible light...

Before she fell for him...he saw her as his own self reluctant to get into a relationship, one having honor...even though they stood on different sides...Now...she sees her as some one who is manipulating him...to get what she wants...He hates it...

He wants her out...even agrees to absolve her of all wrongdoings...but she MUST LEAVE! He can't deal with this side of her...and offers her as much...

She refuses...wants to say she loves him...he stops her before she says it...The more she says it...the more he hates her...

Paro...bai sa...I think you may want to try a different approach...This one doesn't seem to be working...😃

What did get the major out of his hatred mode momentarily was the dori scene...He let his guard down and for one moment forgot the stigma attached with a "beautiful woman", while he helped her tie the knot...of course looking away...as if he would be committing a crime if he stole a glance...😆

Hi Sush!
Off late I haven't got much time to be on IF, but I do peep in to check a few random posts. I search 3 pages for ur post and in the process keep peeping into many other curious posts, which almost all of them are 😆. And before I find urs I am done with my IF time 😔. So I missed ur posts on recent episodes. I am very excited that today I got to be the first to respond. .

Coming to the post, as I started reading I was eagerly waiting to see what your stand is on current track. And as I mentioned, haven't read ur recent posts, I was totally oblivious of what ur POV is. I was pleasantly surprised at how well you put what we could take of Paro's actions. Take a bow for that 👍🏼.

"The answers to all these questions...depend upon the way you look at her...If you start with the point that she is being selfish...everything seems wrong...if you start with the point that she is pure and is the best thing that ever happened to the Major...and even if he is too jaded to let her in...she needs to be firm and make it happen...then it all makes sense..."

So many contradicting perspectives, every one correct in their own way. I guess ur first instinct drives you and no matter what other's say or write here, it will only make you want to strongly defend your point than change your perspective over other's arguments. Guess that is exactly what's happening in our forum off late. And you have summed it very well. As you mentioned in above boldly quoted lines, both the extremes about Paro's current behavior looks justified.

And if CVs are peeping in the forums here, one strong feeling at least every one is sharing without contradiction, they would be either having a great laugh on all our convos or would be pulling their hair for not knowing what we like and what majority wants for the next track.

Personally I am not happy about current plot. I am not totally against it either, but somewhere I am not liking her running behind him when he is not caring a cent for her. And more than that what's bugging me is the stupidity of Rudra. I understand he is emotional, I understand he hates beautiful women, but what happened to his MAJOR mind? Take it as major's mind or major part of his mind 😛. Someone in their post said it right. He is not even worth a jawan in BSD force leave alone a major. I mean who wouldn't perform basic investigation after a murder attempt on a person and here it is his dad. Why would he just believe Sunehri and decide everything. Off late I am finding him to be the dumbest of the lot. I mean, we all know Paro and KCM have smarts, but off late we are seeing some sense in Sumer, Maithili and today even for sunehri.

One justifying trend I am noticing is that our CVs in the process of creating uniqueness to this story are doing below things which I at least haven't seen in other serials that I watch/watched.

1. HERO and on top of it a MAJOR, cried more than female lead.
2. Hero running away from love and heroine hell bent to convince him. This might have happened in other serials where there were MUs that female lead tried to resolve, but here the way I see it Rudra is denying love not because of any MU but she is trying to convince him.
3. Hero had an intimate relationship with another lady before marriage.
4. Heroine has better investigative mind than hero/major.
5. Three marriages/almost marriages (including one on 9th April), maang bharna 4 times (Varun, blood on forehead, accident drop of sindoor, and finally on 9th April) and all this within 3 months.

I sure hope they will start using human trafficking or dig Dilsher, Mala's plot for next track and save us from these pointless fights between Rudra and Paro.

Feel free to post guys...I need to leave for book club in a bit...will reply to what I can now...then come back and pick up...later...

EDIT: As much as I like Shiv Parvati story, and understand Rudy's emotions...I still want Paro to be treated with respect...Fridays episode left me wanting...in that respect...

Parvati, the mythological Goddess never compromised on her respect...even though she did the penance to prove that her desire was not fickle and she had the grit to follow through what she said...

Paro hiding her face in Rudy's jacket and he pushing her...didn't sit well with me...Whatever they are doing they need to do it with one thing in mind...

Its Paro...we are talking about the female lead ...not Laila...the dancer...Rudy should not forget that when talking with her...or treating her...So no pushing her off...OK Bana sa?

But then again...if behaved as he should ...the show will be over...😆

So true Sush. We can have a never ending debate about Paro and her behavior. I can myself justify and provide arguments from both aspects. Plus most of us can never imagine ever leaving our ego, and pride for love to such an extent..at least I cannot. So I leave it to the CVs to tell us the story how they envisioned it and go along for the ride.

Hi Sush,

It is nice to see you early. What an episode and what a post. Here are some of my thoughts.

1) Major wants Paro Bai Sa out of sight and all those words but why does it hurt him so much when Sumer tried to touch Paro Bai Sa?😉 Sumer is lucky to be alive.😆

2) Major comes to the kitchen looking for food and he sees Paro Bai Sa and her doris open. He could have gone back but he chose to tie it. Why?😉 Two reasons come to my mind. Firstly, he didn't want anybody else to see her back and secondly he is practicing how to deal with doris since this is going to be his future. 😉 And everybody talks about Bai Sa's kamaraiya, her back deserves mention too. Ask Major and he will tell us.😆 Major calls her besharam, excuse me Major- remember Laila?😆

3) How far can Paro Bai Sa go? Nothing seems to affect her now which is making Major all the more mad. Paro Bai Sa will need pain killers for her leg by the time Monday comes.😆

4) Sunehri finally comes back to her senses and along with Maithili and Paro, they will eventually find out the truth. And I am ready for another girls' hang out party.😛

Paro Bai Sa's is really doing Tapasya now and hope Bholenath grants her wish.

The acting level is superb from both ends. You can feel his anger and her pain. Just a word for Paro Bai Sa- hang in there girly!😛

Someone needs to get him out of the hole he has dug himself into..I am on team Paro to GO GET HIM!!!!

His expressions during the dori scene were a delight to watch...😃

That scene was well directed and well choreographed...the banging into him scene didn't flow that well ...as an innocent mistake...did look a bit suspicious...

Awwwee... Loved your post as always.

I am loving Paro more with each passing day. I can't relate to her at times and that is what is making her more interesting for me. I don't think anyone who lives in this modern and mechanical world can relate to her. This girl is strong. Strong in believing herself and her inner strength. She doesn't give into anger like us when she listens to his taunts. But she rather stayed silent keeping her calm. She gently stated why he is not able to understand what she feels for him. Even though it was hurtful to see her verbally abused, I loved her spirit when she stood there and spoke calmly to him. I love her for her Zidd to get what she wants. Her Rudra.

Rudra was at his worse today. We all know he has feelings for Paro, but this guy is not ready to accept it. Even his whole being is telling him he cares for her by subconsciously holding to her and protecting her. He is just to blind to not see her innocence. But, How can he? He never knew such innocence exists as he never saw anyone like her.

I can clearly see, he is very frustrated. Frustrated with her. Annoyed at the position he was in. Pissed at not being able to get out of it. Angry at the person who put him there. Thus his outburst. Like you said his reaction was expected. But I just don't want him to abuse our Paro anymore. But that is not going to happen now is it.

All in all wonderful episode. Highlights being the Rudra pouncing at Sumeer and Dori scene. Paro behind the door was the cutest.

A suggestion to Rudra. My Boy! Be careful when you ask something of Paro. She will literally, to that word, do it for you. 😆

Weekend already 😭 I never thought I will wait for the weeekdays and not weekends.
