I was waiting for this ... and after the update, I'm even more impatient for the next 😆
Aman ... have I mentioned that I love your Aman? Seriously I adore him ... and with every update, I love him more and more ... in a completely sisterly way 😆 Love his protectiveness towards Paro ... I LOVED that he was the one to unshackle Paro and carry her out of the room, while Rudra was trying to kill Jasheem ... I loved Aman's fierce anger at Rudra for not even asking once about Paro.
Aman doesn't realise that Rudra's guilt extends deeper and more gut-wrenching that even his own ... that Rudra for the moment, cannot bear to allow himself to think about Paro, and what he put her through.

Jasheem ... this man sends shivers up my spine. What a well-written villain ... utterly cold, calculating and devoid of any humanity whatsoever ... ready to sacrifice his own wife and family without compunction, to save himself. Cold, calculating and very, very clever ... single minded purpose ... and that purpose is his own self. A completely hateful psychopath ... a man who loves to kill, maim and torture. No reason, no excuses ... he just likes to kill. He likes seeing the pain of his victims. A sadist to the core.
And I loved the bit you put in there about his grudging respect and wonder about Paro ... how dare she not be scared of him? That hurt his pride, his ego ... because that's what he thrives on ... the fear and terror that his victims feel for him.

The BSD ... loved the way you put in how every man in the BSD, from junior to senior, from officer to janitor to chai boy, were all asking about Paro ... were all drowning in their own share of collective and individual guilt at the torture an innocent girl went through, and none of them did anything to stop, despite their gut feel that she was innocent.
Do I blame the seniors from higher up for not bothering much about Paro? Not so much ... they didn't know her personally, as these people did ... and their duty is to concentrate on the bigger picture. For them, she is just another statistic. They do not know her, they did not interact with her, they had no way of understanding whether she was guilty or innocent. But the ones who had met her, did ... and they are the ones who feel guilty. Because her innocence was obvious to anyone who had actually met her ... yet none of them did anything to stop her torture. That is a heavy burden for any decent person to live with.

Rudra ... I told you once I hated your Rudra 😉 I still do ... though I can feel the stirrings of guilt inside him. He is suffering ... but I want him to suffer more ... a few flesh wounds and nightmares are not enough.

And finally, the most important person ... absent in this update, but around whom the entire update revolved ... Paro. Love the way even in her absence you've shown how she has entered the hearts and minds of almost everyone who ever came in contact with her ... and won their respect. Even the respect of a psychopath like Jasheem. 😕
I hope we see some of her thoughts and interactions with others in the next update ... I can wait for PaRud, because I want Rudra to suffer more ... but I would love to see her with Aman, with Constable Ram Mohan - another guy I love! ... even with Col Singh.

This is the longest comment I have ever written for an FF ... I can never write long comments ... but this one forced me to 😛

Wow! This was brilliant. All these men, so utterly messed, disturbed and disturbing make for a fascinating story. Especially since you have such a fantastic ability to take the reader inside their heads. Look forward to reading more.

Hey napster this is great. I have to say that this series is probably the one where it feels like you have really tried to get into the skin of all the characters. This series has more depth than the others. Not to say that I haven't enjoyed the others but I feel like this series shows how the characters are being more defined. I can't wait to read about how you portray rudra and Paro here, hopefully you will bring into light their inner workings and turmoil. Interesting to see how one redeems himself and the other finds it in herself to forgives.
Thank you! :)

Guys!

Quick note about PMs--I have about 700 people who get PMs, (most are people from IPKKND days) so I'm sending PMs out very infrequently. I am working on cutting that list down significantly, by weeding out people who've asked for PMs but have never commented.

I am trying not to flood random peoples' inboxes, so the cutting down. This applies to followers of my previous works, like "Perfection" and "How Kunal Roy Won" (both series which I'm restarting) so not to Rangrasiya fans, so chill maro!.

Until I cut that list down to about 400 or so, I'll be sending PMs out once week. I usually update at least 3 times during the week (mostly Thursday/weekends) trying to finish each "Yesterday and Tomorrow" segment within a week. This series is really taking shape in my head, I have a lot of upcoming arcs ready to go in my mind--So, each time you get a PM from me, it will only after multiple updates have been posted--updates which you might miss out on all week.

So if you DONT want to wait around--Please bookmark the story, or comment on the story thread as its being made, so each new update it shows up on your top 10 topics list if you are following. This is, of course, IF YOU DONT want to wait for that once-a-week PM.

I apologize for the bother, but honestly!!! I'm literally spending over an hour and half sending out these notices! Seriously makes me NOT want to write any fiction, when I think of that boring, awful task waiting for me after every update!
