Some more trp musing

As a viewer i am selfilsh , as long as i enjoy the show or rather have a reason to watch the next episode i am not very concerned about the TRPs .But as a IF reader i am surprised , from the time the show has been launched i find a very loyal audience here who seem to enjoy the show.The actors enjoy a huge fan following from their previous shows as well as from RR.

So makes me wonder even with all the popularity , why are the trps low , Love story do not gather regular show kind of trps in the initial stage , but still i feel it is pretty lower than expected. We had a maha episode and lots of twists in this week episodes , still doesn't seem to help .

What is going against this show , or is RR just on the natural progression line it is just a few weeks old , are we in a hurry ,

I see the trp's so far as " half glass full " rathar than " half glass empty " . The trp's have been stable and are increasing gradually .. This is not a regular run of the mill show and even with the TRP audience has formed a stable base , so that is encouraging ...

Hopefully it will become one of those shows which starts low , gets stable in the first 2-3 months and then picks up pace. 😊

I feel colors has lost a lot if fiction viewers due to airing of big boss alot of people this show is a stop gap filler for 9 months till big boss ..
Trp audience like to watch the same regular stuff for years u see most if the top 10 shows has been on for 3 years atleast except Mahabharata ...that's because there is familiarity with plot ..the top 2 colors show is also been on for years .. I feel colors should believe in its shows and not discontinue it ..
Sony has done it and has lost a lot of loyal viewers ..
Star plus backs its shows for ages ..keeps them on for 2 years atleast ..gradually familiarity breeds loyalty ..
RR has a strong cast and a good plot .. Even if the plot fails that can always be worked on ..

I feel colors had a very good show in na bole Tum rather than backing they ended it untimely and kept illogical shows which I will not name .
Anyways colors airs far fewer shows than star plus or zee they both have early evening slots also which are unused by colors ..they can always shift the shows in that slot during big boss ..

but this show is aired at the time of big boss , big boss enjoyed a different kind of popularity ,i didnt watch the show but it was every where ,spoken about a lot channel is definitely benefited

here is what i feel the channel should look at , like for a show like RR may not gather TRP but can definitley gather a lot of overseas viewing , very evident from IPK

and this is more or equally valuable to a channel when compared to trps because here popularity is subsciption

the reason why i feel we have IPK 2 but not a kahanni gaar gaar ki 2

KSKKBT was a trend setter at that time , i havnt watched any episode

a lot of shows copied it later that is a different thing , in ted show about popularity of bollywood outside india there was a mention that theft increased at that time 2 i think it was Afghanistan , and there was a note 'thank you tulsi' , because women were busy
