And I agree, the CVs are fast adding layers to Paro's characterisation and that can only be to the good. More layers = less Black & White = more interesting. And the adoption track will add tension to the story.

And yes, the insult to orphans was a step too far for somebody as good and kind as Paro. But still it seemed a little out of character for her to make speeches.

Thank you Diya. 😊 Yes the Ranawat men are kinda useless at talk. Don't mind in Rudra's case - he needn't talk at all as long as he continues to delight Paro and us.

Lovely post Sabs!!

Rudra's expressions were indeed the delight to watch!! Way to go Maithili !!! Paro shouldn't have involved herself in the family drama. Should have given just appropriate expressions like Rudra and declare her displeasure. Anyhow, with Paro's involvement, we are also going to get THE PRECAP scene!!

@ Paro's involvement: That was a very deliberate ploy by the CVs, considering how self-effacing and nil-by-mouth she's been all this while. So it seems to me the CVs have some outcome riding on this jarring behaviour, which will be revealed in a day or so.

Immediately, the outcome is the slap, and then the haldi, and then the precap... but I'd rather just skip to precap..right now.😆

I know what the precap stands for!! It isn't exactly what people think it is!! Rudra's action in the precap was apt for a military trained person to react to a possible attack. It is very apt if you ask me. Dinner time drama must have made Rudra think. I think he was also embarrassed and sympathized with Maithili. His reaction to Paro when she is going to put haldi is purely on the level of a military man. His expressions do change once he realizes it is Paro but that could be because of his thoughts being somewhere else. Well, for me Rudra is not YET on the path of LOVE at all!! He is becoming more HUMAN first!!! LOVE will pop in due course later. Much later.
