- THE DIRECTION!. Completely cinematic, less dramatic. The quality in the episodes I've seen thus far is ASTOUNDING. None of that freezing into 6 different people's faces, swiping in and out seven different times, coupled in with numerous fade outs on the same characters for "dramatic" "impact". Instead, it's all about the RIGHT angle, and the RIGHT lighting.

Totally agree with your post! In the midst of all the new action scenes in this show, I didn't even notice that they weren't even doing multiple camera zooms...good catch! Another reason why I've been finding this show to be so refreshing

Just to give an example of how awesome this show is: My dad is the BIGGEST Indian Drama hater. He's always giving side commentary about "That's stupid"; "That doesn't happen"; "You just watched 15 minutes of them zooming in and out of people's faces".

Last night (RR comes on here at 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM) I was watching and he was sitting in the living room, my dad was actually SILENT as he watched the show with me LOL.

I'm telling you, if there's no insulting commentary from my father, the show MUST be great LOL!

Damn our fathers must be brothers from another mother no kidding lol!! 😆 But seriously speaking my dad is the same way he can't stand watching Indian shows with kitchen politics or saas-bahu drama...the only thing he watches on tv is the news. When the first episode of Rang Rasiya aired on television my dad was glued to the tv and asked me is this a movie??? I was like wow...Rang Rasiya has set a whole new standard for Indian television shows and I hope it receives all the success it deserves!!

Reeha, you said it all!
I feel like I am watching a major blockbuster movie, in installments. That is how good this series is.
Now I will never be able to watch anything mediocre again.
The bar has been raised pretty high!
And every episode is better than the last,,, today's was the best so far...

Nicely said!! and lol i am presuming u watched the whole horde of Ekta shows like me! hehe i can never forget the multiple zooms and then either lightening striking the screen n/or glass splintering each face!! LMAO i used to love the shows though despite all the crazy stuff cz the actors were good most of the time and production quality was kinda grand too..
except hehe direction n story sucked :p

anyway coming to RR!! well said!! its simply outstanding in every single way!!! I am damn impressed! I am a Sanaya fan and this is all I wished her next show to be! To be better than any show ever before!! n yeh the dream/wish/prayers whatever u may call it has been fulfilled!!

Wishing the show n Sanaya, Ashish all the best and an amazing run!!

There are a few exceptions, shows which aren't tiresome to watch and RR is def one of them for me. I think the grandeur feel to the show comes from the fact that we have top notch directions and acting, which gives it the feel of a nicely made movie.

I hope the quality can be maintained.

And yes, I am also loving the acting chops of the cast. Sanaya has found fame and recognition for her acting already but I'm hoping this is Ashish's ticket into stardom because he really is doing a great job.

I hope you're absolutely correct, he's been amazing so far and if he doesn't get some recognition and star power via that, I don't know what else can!
