i think you are right..i also believe that varun did like paro and cared for her, but he valued his life more than her's and was not ready to die to protect her

I was amused whn varun pointed the gun towards paro..
I wish paro could have regained her consiousness whn varun said those things.. Sighh..

I think he liked her, but obviously it wasn't love, that's pretty clear after today's episode.

I think it's the like that comes with any arranged marriage. You're attracted to the person, and you accept them as your husband/wife, but it hasn't moved to love yet.

I think in his situation he liked her, but he clearly loved his life way more than he cared about her. He cared more about her than anyone else there, but not more than himself.

this is also true! he cared for Paro more than the entire group/his old family. but not more than himself..

That is an interesting POV.

At the same time I had my doubts about Varun the minute the marriage was announced earlier then usual. He did not seem to care about her feelings that much & did not show concern when she wanted her friend Bindisa to be by her side. I dont think he was naive his character was just writing to confuse the viewers.

Yes he very much liked her no 2 ways about it.

Hmmm! Never thought about this angle! Ya you are right...he did show his concern when he saw she had fainted. Maybe he just wanted to cross border n start his married life! But he was definitely a part of the group, he was definitely not being used as a pawn by kakasa! Would Paro have been happy with him? She would have seen his real face someday atleast! We will never get the answers to this!

Exactly as I thought...varun did care for Paro but he cred for himself more...he was a coward...and our Paro does not deserve a coward...I wish that Paro had witnessed varun pointing a gun at Paro n asking Rudra for safe passage...I wonder how Paro is going to believe the truth...one thing which comes to my mind that maybe just maybe Bindi is saved by BSD people n is safe...but than again we saw the crocodile eat her...I want Paro see that BSD officers are not bad...maybe coz I want her to like Rudra...lets see how the story proceeds!!! :)

I was also thinking of the same thing that he did this only to save his skin ...but the expressions he gave when he said he was using her as a cover confused me...he should have been shown to be dead scared...nervous...sweating...unsure how to save himself...then decide to use Paro as his bait ...but he was shown villainy...that didnt augur well...

cvs kind of messed it up..
