I have been reading about people's concerns about the rural rajasthani dialect. May I say that no worries friends. In GKD, they used a heavy UP/maithili dialect which ashish worked very hard on and spoke like a pro. After 2-3 epis we became very comfy with it, and i am sure so will we here. The dialect adds to the authenticity and the real feel of the show. it wouldnt have been so intense if it werent so real. and in my experience, they will tone down the dialect after a 4-5 weeks. always happens. so no worries...😉😊

I hope so ... while it adds to the authenticity, it doesn't help not to understand the dialogues. I'll be happy if they go back to basic Hindi after a while.

Everyone will get used to it. Its not that hard to follow. I have been a historical show fan since I was a child,I used find it hard to follow the deep routed language in the beginning,but then its easy after a while.

My only worry is that they'll get too authentic and make it tougher for non-rajasthanis like me to follow what is being said. Plain Hindi with superficial touches is fine with me :)

i agree with you all to some extent. it is true that initially its difficult , perhaps more for those who are not even too fluent in hindi. but trust me, you get used to it very soon. in gkd i used to think , god what will i do? didnt last long. i became a pro. ( I am half punjabi , half bong, living in the usa) so you can imagine my plight. lol...

but i also agree that the dialect has to be retained to some extent else the flavour and intensity will be gone. the raw, rough , intensity we see is how rajasthan is...and the show has opened with such an intense bang because of the authenticity they have tried to maintain. chillax girls and enjoy...and anyway, we are all friends here and we can help each other, isnt it?

I remember in GKD forum , somebody used to translate all those heavy dialogues in simple hindi/ English. But I m loving the way they are doing RR ... It adds to the raw authenticity of the show.

I am pathetic with Indian languages...born and raised in the western world. I am learning words and phrases. 😃
All I know is that I love listening to Sanaya speaking this dialect.
I don't care if it is not perfect or authentic with language, clothes etc.
This is a drama...not a documentary.
It has talented beautiful actors, awesome setting and much more.
