Agree with both of you, this was more disturbing then all the blood spouting scenes put together because this is an unfortunate reality that many women face and it doesn't differentiate between class, society or race. Sunara, if Rudras exist in real life then probably only one in hundreds of thousands of women who face this ordeal world wide are lucky enough to have one save them. Even though we knew from the promos that he would save her when he rode away and that hope broke in Paros' eyes (The Queen of Expressions title needs to be copyrighted and handed over to Sanaya) something actually broke in me too. Had I been alone I would have shouted at Rudra to get his ass back there. This is one scene I didn't need to see prolonged but the reality is that it does happen and hiding away from it isn't going to make it stop.Originally posted by: princessunara
that was the thing di! for me also the blood n gory scene were more comical than serious.. i didn't take any of it seriously... But today I was reminded of Nirbhaya too...
And unfortunate truth is, not always does a Rudra comes to the rescue...hardly if ever...
that moment of heartbreak when he just ignored it.. how many turn a blind eye to these crimes? I saw the spirit within her wither n die that moment when she realized his ignorance (at that moment she thought he really was going to turn a blind eye just like the men n women in society r in situations like these). these r the true horrors in life, not these stupid macho bloodshed some were making such a hue n cry over! 🥱
