A balanced episode, a continuation from yesterday..

Paro's scenes were cute..😊 A shy, soft spoken Paro who considers the arranged (?conspired) marriage the best thing to happen to her and is in her dream world where all is rosy and a prince will rule her heart!! Ah but what do you know Paro, what future holds for you??😭

But for now its a beautiful world for her.. With Imli.. aur namak alag se..😳😳

Rudra finally makes his entry and what an entry that is!! Am I watching an Indian TV serial? The Colors logo is there, so I must be.. From the bike to the jeep, the bullets to the kicks.. An entry fit for a hero..

And then get scolded by the boss!!🤪

Today's episode left so many questions..

The forgotten rudraksh.. Paro has left it behind.. Is the danger around the corner??😲

Rudra the animal.. The extent of violence, is it just duty or a release to his frustrations??

Rajmata's wishes for Paro's groom.. Do I sense an unhappy marriage there?? (Also her expressions while Thakursa instigates the villages)

Edited again..BTW what she was wishing for sound like a "guy" to anyone??😆

Do terrorists leave their brains at home while crossing the border?? What on earth was the guy doing all the while Rudra pushed his jeep..😆😆 If something's wrong its wrong.. even if it looks damn good!!

Why the rewind at the begining of every episode? I dont mind the snake ji but dont the makers know most of have already watched the episode 4-5 times on YT??😉

Waiting for Rudra Paro meeting.. With the rewinds and flashbacks, hopefully it will be this week itself..

Deeps 😃

I didn't mind the repeat of the first scene today, because it was Sanaya, but hope they're not going to make it a habit!
It seemed Paro was not as excited as the thakurain about her own wedding ... the nervousness and fear of the unknown were high in her mind.

Ashish's entry was dhamakedaar!!! Totally filmy paisa vasool stuff ... complete with flying kicks, blood spurting out like jets, goons flying in the air, brick walls crumbling with well aimed kicks ... and bullets flying everywhere!!! 😆 Felt like a movie all right!!!

His expression changed at two places ... one when he saw his dead jawans ... fist clenched, eyes shaded by his goggles ... he was affected and did not want to show it.
and two, at the mere mention of Beerpur ... the site of lost innocence, the haunt of painful memories ...

Paro left her rudraksha behind ... danger ahead. But her own personal Rudraksha is on the way ... all 5'11'' of him 😃

The Rajmata is very fond of Paro ... does she see her own reflection in the gentle soft spoken girl? And her wish for Paro's groom, seemed to be what she wanted for herself ... when the Thakur was ranting about the BSD, her expression was not happy at all ...

Now waiting for Rudra and Paro to meet ... and the sparks to fly!

Loved paro and her mamiji bonding..what an uniqure way discovered by apro to cut veggies..she is worried regd the back of her mamiji..and that she will become parayii in week and she will nt be able to take care of mamiji any more...

Bindi also feels paro needs to spend time with her..the scene where both travel in open tempo was worth thwe watch and paro telling bindi this is the last time she is smelling the mitti of birpur..

The scene of the day..was the fight of RUDRA aka ashish with villagers, aww what a

it lloked like action packed movie..i loved the sequence and the best scene was ashsih throwing water on his face...he lokks

And the ppor boss of rudra he is angry as rudra never informs of his actions and that always does the work and thn informs thm...

Meera,

I love your emoticons 🤣

I don't think Rudra said much ... he is the strong silent type 😛 Compared to him, even the timid Paro seems talkative!

Rudra gets his boss into trouble with his wayward ways ... 😆 Ashish obviously enjoys his actions sequences ... he looks good in them too! 😳

Only the chief villains have brains ... the others take it in turns to be bashed 😆 Happens in all good movies too! 😆

On a more serious note, I liked the way Rudra's eyes instantly softened at the mention of Beerpur ... his wounds run deep, as deep as Paro's ... will they heal each other? Or is it left to Paro to be the healer, the nurturer?

Nice ... the way they are slowly establishing the characters. The movie feel is still there ... I think it will sustain till they shift to the studios. The scenes of Rajasthan havelis, temples, desert ... all reinforce that feeling ... that grandeur cannot be matched in any set.

Together they make up the next chapter of the Rudra-Paroleela

Di! Apke muh me ghee shakkar!! I loved Ramleela and if this is anything like that me is in dreamland already..

The episode was taut and more gripping than yesterday ... a continuation of sorts, as it further established the characters.

First five minutes was a repeat ... the temple scene and Naag devta's choice of bride for the annual wedding. Seemed more like choosing a 'bali ka bakra' ... or bakri. The village rejoices, so does Bindi ... but Paro's reaction is more restrained, her smile hesitant. Fear of the unknown, being married to a strange man, sent off to a strange land ... the tension appears in her eyes, and never leaves it through the entire episode. She should be happy, she knows, it is an honor to be the chosen bride, for the Thakur will pay for the entire wedding ... but the fear remains.

Sanaya portrayed the hesitancy very beautifully.. Its her voice modulation that amazes me.. Agreed that she has not perfected the dialect but listen to the tone of her voice - its very different from Gunjan/Khushi/Chhanchhan, its uniquely Paro!

Sanaya's eyes beautifully mirrored Paro's doubts, her tension, her hesitancy ... the shy smile trying, but not quite hiding the nervousness behind it.

Every time the Rajmata talks about Paro's husband, the scene flashes to Rudra fighting the infiltrators. The exact opposite of the ideal groom for the gentle Paro. Yet the two are already bound together by destiny.

That was a nice touch.. All the more to show how different Rudra is from Paro's dream guy..

Rudra back at his command office, his CO is not happy with him ... you killed too many people, tone down, think with your heart, but act with your dimaag ... and breaks the news that Rudra is posted to Beerpur.
Rudra's face changes instantly ...

Paro gets her maamisa an energised sewing machine to cut vegetables ... easy on the back, on her feet ... for who will do maalish when she, Paro is no longer around? Maami-bhaanji share a tender moment, Paro is more and more nervous about leaving the only home she has ever known, for the unknown. Bindi takes her off to see her new shaadi ka joda ... another tender moment between Bindi and Paro.

Sanaya was brilliant in these scenes.. Her expressions convey all that's there to be said..

Bindi and Paro off in an open tempo with a group of women, to get her suhaag ka samaan, and Paro's imli ... Paro loses her dupatta for a moment to take in the fresh air of Beerpur, maybe for the last time ... for once she is married, she will breathe only through the net of the purdah ...

Rudra is told about his Beerpur posting ... and is lost in memories ... remembered pain? The flashbacks indicate so ... the pain of losing his mother, the taunts of his schoolmates, the harsh stricture of his father ... 'beautiful women are not to be trusted, they are true neither to their parent, nor to their spouse, nor to their children' ...

So will they meet tomorrow?

If there is an extended rewind again, I doubt it!!😡

Although the pace seemed the same as yesterday, the episode was more gripping ... Rudra got into action, his ruthlessness, his brutality showcased ... and towards the end, his remembered pain ...
And in contrast was Paro's extreme gentleness and softness, her tender caring nature ...
Two opposite personalities ... hot sun and gentle shadow ... fire and calm water ... one incomplete without the other.

The episode brought many memories of Ramleela ... the havelis, the big water pond ... I could swear its the same one Ram swam across in the movie! 😆

I was reminded more of Rajanikant movies and such stuff with Rudra's action scenes.. 😆😆But that pond was brilliant.. Will miss it once they move to in houseshoots.. Or may be they ll have some stock scenes of these, like the front of the house scenes in usual shows..

... and the general movie feel of the episode. Outdoor shoots are really fabulous to watch on the big screen ... I could see the detailed carving in the jharokas of the thakur's haveli ... a sight especially typical of Jaisalmer.

Exactly, she is on the whole happy I think.. The exchange of smiles when Thakur returned to the temple after ordering the kill of the spy, it was like a normal couple.. But she has issues with him, especially his anti-nation activities..

Now waiting for Rudra and Paro to meet ... and the sparks to fly!

Great take Dia , you've covered everything.
I've finally figured out why Ashish only says 50 words a day because the rest of his talking he does with his eyes. Haven't seen the epi on the big screen yet but on my laptop it looked like he didn't move a muscle when he was told about his move to Birpur, yet you instinctively knew he'd been punched in the gut and was in flashback mode even before the flashback happened. The first time I noticed something similar was in the sneak peak when he points his gun at Paro and recognizes her, he barely moves a muscle but you know he knows her. No wonder Sanaya is full of praise for Ashish.
Rudra and his father left Birpur so I'm guessing his mom is still there and I wonder who she is and how much of a role if any she will have in the story. Is it the rajmata by any chance??(I know I'm always wrong with my predictions but what the hey no harm in putting them out there😆) I'm also intrigued by the bond RM seems to share with Paro and what was this promise that she gave Paro's mom? Paro's moms death was unexpected so there was no chance of any deathbed promises. I'm curious about RM'sbackground too now.
I'm totally in love with this soft shy Paro, the girl who wants to believe but can't quite believe that she's the lucky one this time and it's even more heart wrenching for the audience seeing the hope in her eyes knowing that it's going to be shattered. Kudos to Sanaya for her nervous bride to be expressions. Paro still has child like qualities so while Bindi is talking about clothes and make up our Paro just wants her imli...with salt on the side😆. She closes her eyes and breathes in the air of Birpur knowing that she's not likely to come here again because Nandini jeeja hasn't even written so much as a letter in the year since she's been gone.
I'm loving the direction of the show, the scene with the girls playing was shot beautifully and of course Rudra's entry was awesome. It was a little intense perhaps for tv but fairly mild compared to any regular movie from any 'wood. I loved the bit when he shoots the guy while he's in mid air - full on bad ass BW...loved it😃

Just finished watching the episode...OMG...loved this episode. Much of what I want to say has already been said by others so I m going to keep this short.

The best line...😆

"Paro left her rudraksha behind ... danger ahead. But her own personal Rudraksha is on the way ... all 5'11'' of him 😃 "
...thanks Diya.

Loved the episode. And it was not just the actors. The background music, editing, the stunts and the cinematography as a whole is spot on! The ONLY complain I have against Rangrasiya is them showing a chunk of the previous episode .. like come on .. 20 mins is anyways too less, I want more new stuff!!!

Rudra's entry was FAB!!! Ashish Sharma ⭐️ Officially a fan. The only "test" that remains is his dialogue delivery .. but that is one thing that can be improved upon, so not worried much.

Sanaya as Paro is like a dream Her expressions, her voice modulation, her dialogue delivery, EVERYTHING. Enough said.

I can't wait to see Rudra and Paro's (do they have an official couple name yet?) first interaction! It's going to be explosive!

Amazing episode overall .. leaves me impatient for the next one!

I love all the reviews and takes doing rounds in the forum at the moment. Today's episode was essentially Rudra's. From the Dabang style entry , to the Rajni style fight sequence to the Quentin Tarantino-style gore and violence. But in the midst of all the macho-giri you see the very subtle but still present vulnerable and human side of Rudra. The way he swallows and fists his hands, eyes closed as he sees the corpses of the fallen soldiers. And the very subtle change in demeanor when he hears Beerpur. It was subtle but effective. Ashish Sharma- kya bolein aap ke baare main. Amazing actor. I don't know why he isn't more popular. May this show bring much deserved laurels for both him and Sanaya.
Sanaya was amazing too. The hesitant shy smile, the reluctance to leave her home, the gentleness of her nature when she gets mami the massage-cum-chopping contraption (this should go down in Ripley's believe it or not) . I loved the dialogue when she says "toh na udne do, dibbe main band kardo" . And the scene in the tempo when she flings off her chunri and savours the last few days of her carefree youth.
And the contrasts they drew every single time Rajmata mentioned the fictitious groom. Anyway, I'm sure such a guy doesn't exist.
