Another captivating episode. Fast paced, revealing of the side cast, more of the story ,answering few questions ,raising some new ones.

The side cast such as Tarun aka Tejawat (the landlord) ,the Rajmata (Sadia) and Bindi (Paro's cousin) was shown. Special mention to Tarun,he is every inch the landlord, with the towering height, with an aura of power and a leadership quality. He is good to the villagers because they are serving his benefits ,he helps fund the marriages of unmarried girls and acts as a do gooder to all the villagers only so that he is able to get their confidence and also in this way, they will owe him.

So the episode starts with the much awaited scene of Paro ,sitting ,surrounded by a raging circle of fire, helpless ,as she looks onward, trying to catch the face of her tormentor and POOF! It is a dream rather a nightmare!

Cut to Paro,in white lehenga ,looking beautiful as always ,washing dishes 😛 She is still affected by what she saw, shaking with terror,as she relives it again.. Her Maamisa comes to her ,and realizes that Paro has gotten the very same dream ,which she has been unable to shake off over the past years.. the same fire raging around her,the same BSD officer, as the logo on the uniform always comes to fore, always responsible for her death just like how her parents had died 15 years ago..

Whenever she sees fire in any form, even in the simple act of boiling of water in a kettle, when she sees the flame in the burner ,she gets affected..

Maamisa sympathises with her and consoles her saying that the same fire can have different connotations,it can be the fire in a havan kund or the holy pyre before marriage as well and tries to make her get rid of her fear . But how can she ? How can she when her own parents were taken away from her so abruptly because of those wretched BSD officers ? Maamisa tells her to pray to the Rudraksha Mala (a type of bracelet which is worn in the name of God) which adorns her hand,to give her strength whenever she is upset..

She may be cheerful on the outside,an image of a happy bubbly girl but she still hasnt gotten over the horrors of her past..

They make a plan to go to the temple to do the usual Nag Devta ritual. In the temple,Bindi is all excited because as custom says, whosoever's offering of milk, the Nag Devta (snake deity ) partakes, within few days or a week, that girl would be a bride so Bindi roots for Paro.

The Puja to Lord Shiva starts and that is where we have the first glimpse of the Rajmata and Tejawat the landlord. They are considered sort of a royalty in the village. Rajmata is in very good terms with Paro,as she affectionately roots for Paro's marriage and hugs her and Tejawat is cordial to the girls as well,as he pats gently on Paro's head, like a blessing..

During the Puja,Tejawat is interrupted by someone. He goes to the terrace and that is when he comes to know that one of his own villagers was the Khabri to the BSD,the one organisation he loathes. Despite giving him a sense of security,as if he (the Khabri) was to be forgiven ,with just a glance at one of the soldiers ,before he departs, the Khabri is shot dead.

No mistakes whatsoever will be forgiven. If you stand for the BSD's ,you are no longer alive to me is Tejawat's mindset.

He comes and mingles in the Puja again with an air of nonchalance,as if nothing happened, just something to be taken care of,that is it.

Also we have a glimpse of the BSD headquarters.. 5 terrorists have entered the border, the Major asks for Rudra.. Perhaps he is the one who can single handedly take care of them all, hence he was being summoned I guess..

The puja gets over. The Nag devta drinks the milk offered by Paro. She is thrilled. Her face immediately transforms,as a hint of a smile appears that she was going to be wed. A wedding has so much meaning for her. Everyone is happy for her.

But.. Every time the word Marriage was spoken, parallely, Rudra Pratap Ranawat, riding a bike in the distance,on the desert sands, miles away,is shown.

Both his and her destinies are entwined. If Paro is there,Rudra will be there as well. Destiny. It all comes back to this.

Very interesting episode as we were given more insights. Sanaya looked beautiful as always even in the purple lehenga, and Ashish, perfect as the BSD officer

Waiting to see what happens tomorrow! What say guys ? Do Like and share your views 😳

Also, here's wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2014 !! 🤗 May only happiness and joy find your way ❤️ 😳

Well worded Abhi!!
The pace seemed pretty ok to me too, its better they don't hurry too much and set the foundation right..

Thakur Tejavat was impressive, from the pooja scene with the giant lamp, to his calm faced approach to the traitor and participation in the rituals.. The evil is there and he is extremely dangerous but on the outside a suave and benevolent landlord/ruler who is oh so concerned for his people.. But he is the kind of person who thinks he is justified in doing whatever he is doing and it is for greater good..

Loved the thakurain, who seems to favor Paro.. The mention of Paro's mother though a little repetitive from old BW movies was cute.. She is probably the positive countering the negative symbolized by Tejavat.. A balance achieved therein..

Paro's fear of fire runs deep, showing how childhood trauma persists in adult life.. Loving Sanaya's outfits a lot, whether its the morning one or the temple one.

Me likes Bindi, a nice friend and bubbly cheerful person, helps to show the difference from Paro who is a little shy and calmer..😊

Maamisa's words today are meant to resonate for a long time like those of Rudra's father yesterday.. Hope they remember all these things later and make the relevant connections..

Paro seems happy about her marriage.. Unlike our predictions the connection to Rudra was too early in childhood, so the conscious mind has no recollection of it.. But the subconscious does, as you said.

"But.. Every time the word Marriage was spoken, parallely, Rudra Pratap Ranawat, riding a bike in the distance,on the desert sands, miles away,is shown."

One thing I did not like was the way they showed the flashbacks, the dots and grittiness..😕

No clarification about the intentions and justifications of BSD as yet..😕

And Rudra's entry is going on and on and on.. I too want to ask like the BSD officer, where is Rudra?😉😆

And they are using the -sa language..😲 Am i the only one having difficulty understanding the dialogues?

Waiting for tomorrow eagerly.

Nice description and today they delved more into the village set up and how it operates under the patronage of the Thakur who rules with an iron hand and soft touch.
Very glad that they are showing the quite angst and misery of Paro which exists in her heart. She like Rudra is still reeling under her childhood trauma. Sanaya will definitely get a lot of scope, if the writing balances this between both the leads.

Paro looked beautiful and has a quite dignity about her and her fears well portrayed. The ensemble cast is also very good.

A Very Happy New Year to you, Abhi.

ABHI EXECELLANT TAKE not only the Shiv puja but their names also are Parvati and Rudra and probably Paro will also face all Rudra's anger and problems before they get their love. That is why when ever marriage is mentioned always Rudra is shown no one can escape destiny.

Thank you sooo much Deeps 🤗 I agree, they should take it slow and steady ,no need to just speed up unnecessarily.. Bold,So true! Thakur is a kind of person that thinks that whatever act he does is only for the good of the people,he plays 'God' in short..

Liked the thakurain as well ! I liked her equation with Paro ! She genuinely seems to care about Paro <3

Exactly! Only on the surface she seems unaffected otherwise the scars of the trauma she has gone through are still there..

I liked Bindi too! She is chatty but cute 😆

She was too small na so I dont think she remembers that little moment, which over the passing years would have become insignificant ! But I think when she sees the doll with Rudra, later maybe when she goes to his house or something, that memory might be triggered !

@Purple- Umm ya I guess you do have a point! It kind of felt as if he was travelling since a long time😆 but I was so fully taken into Paro's scenes that time that it didnt feel too bad for me! 😳

The rajasthani dialect is tough and not so easy to understand but because I know hindi well,I;m able to get the overall gist ! What about you Deeps ?
